How many years in a row has the ENTIRE FOOTBALL UNIVERSE been saying “Buffalo doesn’t have a running game”!, ….its INTENTIONAL …and STUPID! Balance the attack you m0r0n!
Absolutely getting out scored 49-13 in the second half and Allen leading all QB’s in interceptions which is uncharacteristic.
I think Daboll was a little more strict (serious) than Ken Dorsey. Josh is too comfortable with Dorsey he gotta get focused calm down and take what the defense gives him.
@Two Zero Eight agreed! I was thinking the same thing; Dorsey is in over his head and can’t make adjustments.
@Two Zero Eight I wouldn’t be surprised if we get swept by the Pats this year because of getting outcoached.
Hey coach can’t mention how u didn’t call a timeout after Allen drops 20 yard runs maybe he needed a rest mentally and physically

Tre would have played if he was ready. Conclusion? He’s not ready. I was at the game and everyone thought we should go for it on 4th. You always second guess when things don’t work.

He’s a good coach why go for field goal ??? So we can tie up and let the Vikings have another shot to get a touchdown??? No we needed the touchdown and Allen just made a mistake
McDermott was a defensive assistant he doesn’t have a head coach mentality. Late game situations are not his strength.
We have success with him but you are right. Next level may require changes.

He seems absent most of the game. Poor clock mgt, doesn’t or makes wrong call on 4th down to go for it vs FG, I’d like to see his challenge percentages. Just doesn’t instill fire, or confidence. He seems stable but not able to handle complicated game time decisions

McDermott seems like a decent guy, is a good coach, but isn’t gonna take this team all the way. He lacks game day situational awareness and urgency, his team is too undisciplined.
Agreed. If McDermott has a week of video analysis, he can figure it out. But on the fly, against smarter coaches, he’s left spinning in their wake.
I think he gets a little caught up in the moment, similar to Andy Reid when he used to have an issue with calling time outs.
How can he sit there with no passion after a game like this and say, “we need to be better, hard fought game, I believe in our guys..” Give me a break, this guy cannot lead us to a Super Bowl victory.

He reminds of Jason Garrett. Above average everywhere except when it’s game time. Lots of poor decisions against the good teams and not good at challenging with the red flag, time outs and when to go for it on 4th down. Some of dorsey’s play calling leaves me scratching my head.

Garret at best could finish 8-8 and can’t get into the playoffs, McDermott on the other hand though not perfect is a far better coach, what an insult

We need run game in second half.
We do have a run game; a bd run game. We run Singletary on first down and he gets no yards in a cloud of dust! We did that at least three series in a ow. Very creative play calling. Embarrassing. Love the 2nd and 10 or more all the time…
I also agree we should have taken the field goal BUT I also think we need better halftime adjustments. Coaching is the reason for our second half issues.
outside of Josh and Diggs, and Singletary, there’s no fire on this team, no passion.
Notice all the adjustments Daboll has made in 2nd half of Giants games.. Bills let wrong guy leave western NY.
Love to see a little better press on them from the media. Muki Hawkins seems like the only one really trying to push them for anything beyond generic rhetoric

Bye week came at the worse time in my opinion, Bills were on a good roll.
I’ve given McDermott a free pass because he’s taken us from an absolute joke to contenders. Two years Andy Reid absolutely out coached him and ended our Super Bowl chances. In the last two years he’s had us totally unprepared and choked away 8 regular season games. He has not been able to stop the run for his entire tenure as Bills HC.
He’s gotten us this far but he can’t take us any further. We are headed for another soul-crushing post season loss.
How dissapointing this loss was but I am a huge believer in the Buffalo Bills……just really hoping everything for playoffs, run thru Orchard Park#BillsMafia

I was all for McDermott up until now. Its clear this team isn’t mentally tough and this guy makes critical mistakes during the game (take the 3 points……SMH). The bills will never win it all with this guy.

Vikings fan here and i just want to say thank you Bills for the best and most exciting game i have ever watched in all my life of 40 years. I hope we see each other again in the Superbowl and even if my Vikings don’t make it (knock on all the wood), i hope you guys still do. You are an excellent team and fan base. Just a bad decision by Allen. He needs to understand the situation better and not force the issue. But I would like to see the Bills and Vikings in the Superbowl. Just like the movie “Second String.” 2 0-4 teams playing each other.
@Bull Moose That would be epic! In my opinion, we are both underdog teams and towns.
It is frustrating to see Josh struggle at the end of close games, more for him rather than the Bills. He seems to almost have PTSD in those situations, he gets anxious and speeds up rather than getting meditative and slowing down, where everything becomes in slow motion. The great comeback QB’s seem so calm in those situations. Holosync might help along with grounding/earthing himself during the week.
Bottom line is Buffalo has been so reliant on JA to do everything and when you are so one dementional the pressure is enormous and hes forced to make plays that just aren’t there. Tremendous competitor but the coaching staff is below average imo and it starts with McDermott.. Hes just a talking piece .
Buffalo had that hurry up offense with Kelly that ran its course pretty quick.
Buffalo needs to pul back on being so reliant on JA and tweak the offense..
