I feel very good about this tandem. I liked Marty hurney, but he made a lot of mistakes. He had some huge hits though as well.

The only 3 options I’d like to see
1) trade up for Kyle pitts
2) stay at 8th and take the best available skilled position offensive player(unless penei Sewell is still available)
3) trade back and take the best available skilled position defensive player(plus more draft equity)
They’ll be plenty of talented offensive lineman available in the 2nd and 3rd rounds #keeppounding
I hope we can get Pitts first and then build that o line. But we also need some CB talent.
Statistics say you have best bet with WR in rnds 2-4. Rnd 1 guys tend to be overhyped a bit and the production difference between them and another WR vs another position like an early rnd lineman vs late rnd lineman isn’t worth the 1st rnd pick on that guy. Look at Steve Smith. Justin Jefferson. Edelman. George kittle.
Pitts is gonna be a beast though.
Sewell or Pitts if they fall to us. From there I would trade only couple spots (10-13) and look to land Slator/Surtain/Horn.
By what Fitterer said about arm length of lineman and corners I don’t see them picking slater at 8

Pitts, Sewell, Surtain, Slater or trade down and I think some people are sleeping on Cosmi. We should try and get Darnold as much help as possible and if he doesn’t turn out we’ll still be a QB away from a Super Bowl
