Chandler is coming off his second two-catch performance in three weeks, which isn’t promising, but at least one of them was a touchdown last week against the Bengals. With rookie QB Thaddeus Lewis still at the reins, the tight end promises to partially fill a “safety valve” role, although Fred Jackson should also account for a lot of that work.
Chandler’s had a couple big games this year, but it’s hard to predict when he’ll be successful and when he won’t, and his value is almost entirely tied to touchdowns. That’s always an iffy proposition in fantasy, as outside of a few guys, consistent touchdowns are hard to come by. And Chandler isn’t one of those guys.
