Coming from a Rams fan, it annoys me how well and how physical the Niners always play against us. The Defensive front from the 49ers took over that game! As long as Jimmy G limits the mistakes, the 49ers are going to be a tough football team to beat. Their Offensive and Defensive Line can take over games!

As a Cowboys fan, the 49ers deserve all of the praise and being the favorite (despite what the odds say) from the majority analysts and fans to win this game. But let’s be honest about this.
Right now everyone is saying the 49ers are too mentality and physically tough for the Cowboys and the Cowboys are too soft and playoff chokers.
Let’s say the Cowboys win, I guarantee you there will be no love from the media. If Dallas wins, the talk will turn from how bad a matchup the Niners are to Jimmy G being a garbage QB and Dallas can’t beat a team with a good QB. I know that’s going to be the talk if the Cowboys hold on. It is what it is!!!

Ironically, this is the only Wild Card game this weekend that isn’t a current rematch or divisional rival game this season.

I think that’s really more like Yankees vs Sox rivarily since both play in the same league and there can’t be a World Series between them both… while Yankees and Dodgers is more like Cowboys and Steelers since they can meet in World Series and the Super Bowl. The defense will do enough to win the game, if Dak doesn’t grind the gears of the Porsche of an offense he has. If the offense sputters, then the defense will at some point become exposed.
That’s the truth no one one wants to say, this game is on the $75 million man. If he keeps the offense on track by converting on third down and in the rz, Dallas will win. If he struggles in those areas like he has against other good non-NFC East teams, Dallas loses.
Plain and simple.
I hope Moore doesn’t get too conservative. We do much better when we are throwing downfield versus those little dump off passes.

As a 49ers fan, I can tell Cowboys fans what they need to know:
On defense, it comes down to the 49ers’ D-line. Can they get pressure and dominate? Bosa and Warner will be looking to take control of this game. But if Dallas can contain the 4-man rush, Dak can pick on the Niners’ secondary all day if he has time.
On offense, the 49ers want to run the ball 30 times a game. If the O-line control the LOS, look out. Juszczyk and Kittle are such great blockers in the run game. If Trent Williams is healthy, this is a really good blocking team. But if you can contain them, get Jimmy rattled, and force the 49ers pass, they can put up performances like the 1st half of Rams game – only 3 points in 2 quarters, and the offense looked terrible.
Bottom line: who controls the line of scrimmage? Who wins in the trenches? The skill players will make plays on both sides, but whoever wins the trenches will be moving on.

As a former season ticket holder, I was there for “The Catch”, went to the Super Bowl against the Bengals in Miami, have seen the transition from Joe Cool to Steve and have seen the Niner’s lose to the Cowboys and win to go to the Super Bowl. At this point am very happy they are in “The Tournament”. I think that if they can limit the mistakes, they have as good as any to beat the “Boys” It was a very slow start to Sunday’s game against the Rams. Made the adjustments at halftime and it was off to the races! Will be rooting for my Niner’s to advance to the next round. This is old school all over again!
