@Evan Bell Carson was hit or miss, Rivers Retired, Brissett is nothing more than a solid backup, and Luck Retired. With that being said Ive thought Ryan was washed the past few years so i wouldnt be surprised if this was a 1-2 year stint
@Bormannator The issue is Wentz was never given a fair chance, no one is saying he’s a top 10 elite QB, but he’s better than the credit given to him. I don’t understand why the colts and majority of colts fans act like he was the only thing holding them back. Before you drop a QB, maybe give him a decent receiving corps, get some actual pass protection, and give him more than a year. For all I know he could be a bust in Washington, but at least in Washington he has elite pass protection and a true #1 receiver in mclaurin. I honestly liked the colts until their fans became delusional. (Most fans, not all.)

The colts have a high standard since getting that one and only Súper bowl 15 years ago . Luck left and you been signing dudes ready to retire. Plus who the hell is their number receiver ? Sam has been playing lights out this preseason. He could be Ryan’s successor within the next 2-4 years for sure!

I don’t care that he’s playing against second or third team guys….. Sam Ehlinger has had himself a freaking preseason! Gaht dang it this dude is a definite gamer. Athletic, good improviser, smart, accurate and much improved arm strength….. Kid is definitely a diamond in the rough that’s being polished quite nicely

As a Colts fan. When, I first heard Ehlinger was drafted to them I was pretty hype! Knowing how much of a gunslinger he was at texas I told myself he’ll leading this team in the future. The fact that he missed all of last season and is balling out like this even if it’s preseason I don’t care! He’s been doing awesome. I hope he gets some reps this season and if he’s not a near starter next year definitely by 2024!! I can’t wait! He’s the future of this team! Colts would be idiots to cut him.
