@mike romero he’s got great qualities, the reason he went so late is because of mechanics like Tim Tebow he has a slow release. He could develop well especially if he gets with a qb coach who can help fix his mechanics. He’s a great leader and never gets overwhelmed by the moment

God the first clip I see of this kid is him effortlessly throwing the ball 35 yards is a breath of fresh Air. Eason and Ehlinger have absolute cannons. Kinda excited.
Sams only real problem is his release, he has a slow winding release but that can be fixed, fortunately he should be able to sit and learn and develop, he’s an amazing leader never gets scared of the moment and has proven to be a clutch player in big moments, there were many times when Texas needed five td’s to win so sam went and got them 5 td’s. I hear some knocking his size but he’s taller than drew Brees and Russell Wilson who both seem to have no problem seeing over their lines. If he’s able to sit and learn at the very least he’ll develop into a consistent solid second string.
Please make this man the starter eventually, he is an underappreciated beast

This is the kind of guy that helps your team win games even if he never reaches the field. He could be our practice squad quarterback for his entire career and be a big part of our team. As it is, a guy with that competitive fire, leadership, and smarts in the sixth round is a good gamble.
