I can’t believe I’m saying this, but if this is it for Sam with us, I’m gonna miss him. I hope he comes back but if he doesn’t, I enjoyed watching him this year.
Agree. I’ve grown to really like him and enjoy seeing the chemistry he had with the team this season. I wouldn’t mind having him back either. He grew a lot with Wilks. More time in the right system and with the right coach, and he’s got a lot more potential left.
Matt Rhule had us thinking Sam was trash as a quarterback, when in actuality, he’s pretty mid.

Re-sign sam, and if he starts stinking next year, let corral get some playing time. Drafting another qb this year seems pretty dumb. I’m good on cj stroud and bryce young and the rest.

Fans hate him but I don’t. Hoping to resign. Get him some oline depth(starters are str8), a TE who make plays in the passing game consistently, a decent OC & let’s roll. If Sammy D bombs, we got Corral or whichever rookie QB we draft waiting.

He lowkey played really well for being hurt most of the year. Tbh this was his best season of his career
They could have been way better if they had taken care of the HC situation earlier in the season. I have always said this team was a great group of talent, but was poorly coached. They transformed after those changes were addressed. I believe they will come back with a BANG!!!!

He’s had the talent but never had an OC or a offensive line. This year he had a real offensive line and he showed out. Makes you wonder 🤔🤔

We signed him last year. He comes out 3-0 shocking the NFL. Then they lose and automatically want to give up on him. I’m still a fan of him. And really want to see how his career goes. #keeppounding
Going from Adam Gase to Matt Rhule is actually going backwards….if he had real coaching and an OC he might be decent….look at Daniel Jones with Brian Daboll
Don’t know why people don’t want him back next year. He clearly can make some big time plays when he has enough time in the pocket. Still think we should resign him as that bridge/veteran presence until the QB we draft gets up to speed
Darnold will get one more year. He had one bad game in the ones he played. All others were winnable attempts. I’m happy we got 7 wins instead of 5 and I’m happy bc of the improvement I seen this year.
Sammy D is my guy, I hope to see him back next year, along with Steve Wilks. Another long off season here we come.
