I said it when he was drafted. He is a back up QB, and barely a game manager. The game managing can improve with coaching, but he will always be a back up. Honestly, I don’t even think Belichick could win 9 games with this kid. Nothing against him, and I am not a Jets fan, but they have to change that organization completely. The scouts have missed, and missed with QB’s. They honestly haven’t drafted a real QB since Chad Pennington, and that’s not saying much at all. I am surprised the Billionaire who owns them hasn’t realized this yet. They seem to draft well every else at other positions, but just can’t seem to make the right moves at QB, and that includes Free Agency. Sam Darnold is a bust.
