They are looking terrible even on defense. First play it’s a 80 yard TD. Then 3rd & 31 and they give up a 55 yd play on a running play at that! Then the play calling is nauseating. This Gase doesn’t even have any plays for Darnold to throw down field. He gets close to the end zone and doesn’t try any throws to the end zone. Idk what’s up with Herndon hands. He dropped a pass in the end zone that could’ve been a TD. He had 1 catch for 5 yards. I just don’t get it. I feel bad for Darnold bcuz if you give this kid some time and some receivers he’s going to play good. Especially when he runs a no huddle but Gase mister so called brilliant offensive mind doesn’t seem to see this. I’m a die hard Jets fan and I hope they start out 0-8 just to get him fired bcuz the owner is blind and dumb to call Gase brilliant offensively. Look at Tannehill when he left Miami and Gase, he became so much better and even took his team to the title game. Darnold’s career is going to take a lot of hits if Gase stays there. Please NFL God get rid of this bum!
