Had some good plays but made crucial mistakes. How do you throw into double coverage to Mims, that pick to Howard was unacceptable and the 1st interception you should’ve just thrown the ball away.
Sam is just not good enough, he had a promising start in his career but the jets plus his bad luck of injuries/mono has stunted his growth and even made him regress.

After Ben retires Sam Darnold belongs on the Steelers. I’m not even a fan but he seems to have chemistry with them already. His career is being wasted on the Jets.

So it’s Adam gase fault that Sam throws interceptions and is making the same mistakes since he was a rookie. No fault to Sam yet when a washed joe Flacco is playing the offense is way better.

@Hari Avula Sam was horrific yesterday and all season even now that he had all 3 wrs playing. I’m saying that with a proper coach he had a lot of potential to get better instead of stupid and critical mistakes rookies make which shows he hasn’t got much better because he got drafted to this pathetic franchise. Don’t believe me? Look at tannehill and how successful he is doing now that he got the hell away from Gase. That being said Sam is done on the jets I hope he has a good career elsewhere.

Gase Broke him and now he needs a fresh start. Impossible to evaluate him now. Based on what I see he’s not the future, you now gotta take Lawrence (assuming he doesn’t go Manning and Elway on them) and wish Sammy the best. I just hope he doesn’t land in Foxboro and start another dynasty 🙄
