@Whiplash95 nothing fixes a game like a pass interference call… it’s _the_ go-to weapon in the ref’s arsenal when a game needs to be influenced one way or the other… all you need to do is start watching games and count how many PI calls are made and _when_ in the game they’re made and you’ll see what I mean

Nagy flat out stinks as a playcaller, and the fact that the bears always have to wait until the 4th quarter to start figuring things out makes this game so irritating to even watch

I honestly wouldn’t have blamed him if he missed. like nagy only called short passes that last drive. like that wouldve done two things. if completed it wouldve wasted clock. if incompleted it would have been a waste of a down. they needed to get down the field to help santos with the wind but nagy thought it would be a great idea to go with short passes when it wouldn’t have done anything at all. santos bailed nagy with that amazing field goal and on top of that, it was against the wind

Near the end of the first half the Saints had the ball and Nagy called a time out in hopes the Bears would get the ball back. Instantly I thought bad move. The Bears were up by 10. Why stop the clock for Brees and Sean Payton, you gain nothing if the Saints have to punt and you get the ball at your own 15 yard line with 30 seconds left. Don’t give Brees any opportuntiy. The Bears were all ready going to get the ball for the start of the second half. Saints end up getting a TD with 3 seconds left in the half. Right then I said the bears will lose this game.

Brees is the greatest QB when given the ball under 2 minutes. And you give him a free timeout? To be fair we were down 3 of our 4 top recievers on the road in the cold against the wind and against a top 5 defense

As a Saints fan I think it’s impressive the Saints are competitive considering they have one of the worst defenses in the league.
People will keep getting mad at Foles and Mitch, just wait until they realize It’s actually Nagy’s fault.

I said it, Mitch starts slow but when he starts cooking, just let him do his thing. He’ll scramble, and claw, but Nagy doesn’t like him and I hope Sean Payton picks him up next year for free.

@J Dolo Don’t need “experts” to say anything that can’t already be seen. The problem is all three components: Quarterback, Head Coach, GM. Putting him back out there still does not solve the overall issues. That issue being the long term solutions, at all three positions, are currently not in town.
Foles is limited, always has been, trading for him was never an upgrade (in my eyes). Mitch is limited too. One can run, the other can’t. One can throw, the other can’t.
Is it possible he’ll start again this season, probably, but he doesn’t necessarily give you the best chance to win. He just can do something better (run) then what Foles can do. Both aren’t good, they are just bad in different ways. And if he gets hurt from running (which he has before), any chances of a trade (unlikely), is out the door.
As I said before I could go on and on all day. Sadly, as a season ticket owner for 30+ years, this is just the same inept act all the way down the board from this organization.
