This was a product of the guys getting some rest after the Thursday night game, and AK stepping up and being vocal after the lost to Arizona. It means a lot to players when the guy that never says anything, stands up in front of the team, and holds everyone accountable. When teams lose, the team Will hold a players only meeting, then they come out the next game and ball. Well AK had the meeting for them after that lost in Arizona. He was tired of losing and started holding people accountable. It means more to the players when one of the quietest players on the team steps up and does that, then it would be a coach does it. AK stepping up this year as a Captain, and the players showed they respect him for that, by performance on the field.

    What you want him to say I mean come on you shouldn’t need another man to make you motivated and if our players are dependent on some sort of magical motivational speech to do their jobs then that’s the reason we’re in trouble.
