In regards to really intelligent players I’ll quote Dan Marino “I don’t care how smart you are, if you don’t have the talent you won’t have success in this league.” Unfortunately, I think that quote adequately describes Jones. He’s coming off a shoulder injury that required surgery and he had trouble covering college players. He might end up being a great coach in this league, but I don’t see him being a great player in it.
