I don’t think Driskel can read defenses nor does he know when to throw the ball away. That said, the line is porous and Shurmer doesn’t appear to be able to adjust play calling to match situations very well. Also the receiver play has been terrible. So, no QB is going to look super sharp under those conditions.
Broncos going to have to get guys off the street with all these injuries. I thought 2020 couldn’t get worse.

@Rhinopocalypes That is why you should not rely on a lot of rookies to contribute immediately period, let alone this season. So that is on Elway. That being said, there are rookies out there performing better than ours and that is on coaching.

It was obvious there was going to be growing pains from having such a young team and anyone not willing to accept that was lying. If not for injuries it would’ve taken a bit but they would’ve came up to speed.
Also about other rookies performing better, those are entirely different situations. Teams can focus more on the rookies since there are less and the rookies aren’t expected to do everything outside maybe Burrow.
Stop trying to see everything as an easy answer. This team could’ve worked in a normal offseason and with less injuries. The team just got everything going wrong.
@Rhinopocalypes You have your view, I have mine. Just expressing my side of it but my stance on that is the same; poor planning and foundational building by relying on rookies to contribute and hoping certain players don’t get injuries.

Brett rypien did great until he threw that interception. Throwing down the field for 60 yards. The interceptions cant happen. The pass protection has to be better. Gotta minimize those sacks. If throwing doesn’t work…try to run the ball. Use your skills broncos!!! Score score score!!!
