Tannihill didn’t play until week 6 so he didn’t do anything but ride the bench for those weeks and the reason Derrick didn’t give a 100 yards that often is bc he was only getting 13-15 carries a game he needs 25-30 a game Derrick carried them to the playoffs and carried them all the way to the afc championship game…. then for some reason they thought they needed to pass when they were up on the Chiefs instead of giving the ball to the running back who carried them all the way there… where was Ryan vs the chiefs since he so great he should have came back and got the W

@octaveous johnson he actually played great in that game 21 of 31 for 209 yards and 2 tds. I agree they shouldn’t have gave up on the run Derrick only got 2 carries after halftime. But our defense didn’t help us by trying to make mahomes fumble when he ran it in for a td they easily could have stopped but wanted to force the turnover. Tannehills best game of the season was against the saints when Henry didn’t even play he had over a 120 rating he was the only qb all season to do that against the saints defense. Not saying tannehill is tom Brady or mahomes but Miami wasn’t the offense for him. This scheme fits him. Why hate on a man because he is finally getting to be on a winning team?

Kendrick Mott I’m not saying that Derrick Henry wasn’t a big reason for the Titan’s success, I’m saying that just bc Derrick Henry was a big reason doesn’t mean Tannehill wasn’t either. You could say the same thing for the Titan’s beast of an O line

octaveous johnson Henry had 19, 15, 17, 27, 20, and 15 carries in those first six games. He only averaged more than four yards per carry in two of those games. So sure you *could* say, he didn’t get 100+ yards due to lack of carries, but if he got the carries, they would have been inefficient ones.

Exactly. He’s not gonna Drew Brees/Patrick mahomes wow u with 42 touchdowns and 4750 yards but he’s smart and knows how to read defenses. The only knock on him right now his he sometimes needs to step up in the pocket whereas his first instinct is to scramble. I think 12 of his sacks were unavoidable. I only half blame him Bc he probably has a little ptsd from playing in Miami behind cardboard walls
