@Lift_4_Pancakes when you have a young franchise qb you focus on his success by giving him weapons. I donāt care how good the defense is. If Justin sux bc of no weapons. Another losing season. Another bust. Another first qb. The cycle continuesā¦
@ikenna59 the D has to remain relevant. The line was taken into consideration to keep him clean. This is a building year. Not a competing year. Our WRs can be worked with. Pringle and Mooney are good for fields. This is a real rookie starting season for Fields. We will acquire more target pieces for him. But we gotta build the team. There will be diamonds in the tough found.
@ikenna59 u gotta start watching football more your definition of bust is wrong lol thereās never been a time in NFL history where a player been considered a bust after his second season which havenāt even started yet thereās no way possible you watched the bears last yr if you donāt see the improvement on paper stop being lazy saying anything and research Fields will take a Hugh jump in a zone read offense especially with Luke Getsy

For real, that was actually unreal & mad props to Poles! Pace would’ve 100% moved up somewhere ugh..
This draft has suprised me, but if you take your head outta the mainstream BS…. you find they have made a legit effort to shore up the 3 biggest concerns, Secondary/O-Line/Receiving Weapons. Most of the picks so far by Poles have pretty impressive RAS and their tape shows good follow thru… so foundation is there for HITS Stars.
It’s clear RAS scores were at the top of the list when making his picks.
This has got to be one of da Bears best drafts in a while, kudos to everyone involved!
Last year I believe in Justin but this was definitely a underrated discipline draft
Last year, on paper, was a fantastic draft and we got some studs! This year, they werenāt the āsexyā pick but they were the needed pick. This draft was great but people hate it because itās not the guy they wanted
How…….if we drafted the least amount of talent. Even the dbs which were the best additions are not top in draft.
@J Bo both the dbs we drafted were top prospects in their position brisker was top 3 safety prospect and gordon was a projected first rounderā¦

I like winning as much as any fan, but I was over the moon when the BEARS brought in Eberflus, because I really just want a defense that steals the souls of offenses again.
Yes, but we also need an Offense that breaks the spirits and hearts and reap the souls off opponents and their fan bases alike. We are well on the way to having both, hopefully our special teams will a real scoring threat too.
NFL rules are now against those type of defenses. Offense product now

This was a good draft imo, think we will take care of WR depth in UDFA. The picks all were solid and each player definitely has something to bring the team. Very excited
I think people forget Landry is still a free agent, like there are many elite wr still not taken
justyn ross is a guy they should look into, not just for depth but a potential guy who could start. injuries are his biggest issue and i think on a UDFA prove it type deal he could be great value
@Cameron Mikael I agree, wish they took him instead of the punter lol. It’s a chance yes with his medical but with the upside, it would’ve been worth it. I don’t think he has signed as an UDFA yet but I hope it’s with us.

Too many fans become enamored with only the names that are thrown out there by talking heads leading up to the draft. This year was different with so many 5th and 6th year players available due to covid and all the transfers now in college ball. Rookie mini-camp will be a bloodbath with these guys competing for roster spots.
If you dont believe in what they are saying there is something wrong with you. This is the start of something special Bear Fans….ENJOY THE RIDE AND THE PROCESS. And above all be patient. Bear Down.
I agree & anybody who says this was a shitty draft is either just plain ignorant! They shocked us all going defense, defense with the 1st 2 picks but I’m fine with that. This showed Poles is disciplined & smart! Taking BPA sounds easy but it isn’t & ppl obviously forgot all of Pace’s drafts where we were begging for him to take BPA lol. Now we got a GM that does so & ppl are already whining smh.
It was a solid draft. First 3 outta 4 picks were really good. Velus Jones might be a very good WR3/4 and KR. Letās what Getsy can do.
He is the complete opposite from Ryan pace dude really turned 5 draft picks he had in January to 11 his first 3 months a gm thts insane we address our holes in our secondary and got a lot of debt we desperately needed at offensive line and got us a punter because we didnāt have one on da rosterāš¾ this team finna have sustain success under this man in da upcoming years just watch šÆ
Poles done flipped 3 picks into 8 & only gave up a next yr 6th. we are in very good hands dawg & seeing the tape of the players that were signed in FA & these draftees the intensity will be HIGH paring that up with Flutes style of play & having one of the easiest schedules coming off the 3rd hardest schedule last yr. donāt be surprised if we bounce back in the playoffs š»š½
This draft showed competency and efficient management. As a bears fan I forgot what that looked like. Next year is gonna be crunch time to see what weapons poles and eberfleus want for the offence.
