Yes, did you also notice that two of the UDFA’s were tops of the UDFA’s available? RB Artavis Pierce was a huge signing. He had 11 carries for 160 yards vs. Ohio State in 2018. He has 4.47 speed. He only played part-time in college and could be a huge find. Good receiving skills, as well. They also got a LB Rashad Jones from Florida Atlantic. A passionate player that can rush the passer and defend against TE’s.
Hope he is better than Mack who has been missing!

I understand all of the comments about Kmet but how many of the TE on the roster are starting material and can develop into a Zach Ertz type of TE? Jimmy Graham is just a stopgap. Shaheen, Braunecker, Horsted, Seibert and Dax Raymond are not those TE’s. J.P. Holtz looked decent but foes not have the potential of Kmet. The only guy on the roster that could be a diamond in the rough is Darion Clark, a converted bball player. That’s it.

Don’t understand why you guys are tweaking. The two guys we took at the end were phenomenal value guys for depth/starter worthy guys. Explain to me why we would pass on the top3 consensus CB and the best TE in the draft for Josh Jones? We were never going to get Josh Jones. With the way these guys were falling we got an extreme amount of value in these guys that we got. Keep in mind, Hambright, and Lachavious Simmons are insane interior and exterior line talents. Both were originally supposed to be going in the third rounds to fourth rounds. Also not to mention WE HAVE A BRAND NEW OL COACH!! We don’t need to be wasting massive capital on a need when we can take a low-risk/high reward duo to fix up this OL. we’re going to be okay, Pace nailed this draft and patched up multiple holes while signing some seriously underrated UDFA’s a couple of hours ago. Pace get‘a B+ imo.

Foles is 11-2 in prime time games? Foles is 4 times more efficient in the red zone than MT. We can assess 4-5 games last year that were lsot by a QB that can’t see, can’t read progressions, and makes dumb decisions…plus, he couldn’t learn Nagy’s Offense. Critics need to go to a Packers or ViQueen’s site.
Jaylon was projected to go at pick #22 to the Vikings. He’s got a motor, great hands, great press coverage…I see a clone of Peanut Tillman.

If you were a qb would you be happy with the Bears offensive line honestly? No big name Qb would ever want to play with the lack of talent upfront. Why you have a Gm job is insanity i wouldn’t want you as a scout.
Cody and James are both 2nd round picks. They spent plenty of draft capital on the line. I think getting a much better o line coach as we got is going to play huge dividends in the line play, as will Nagy running the ball FAR better with FAR better plays then running from spread or running from 3 wide with the RPO far far too much. However time will tell.

He looks like a legit QB prospect that wasn’t drafted for nitpicky reasons. Maybe the Bears could have still signed the OL as an UDFA, if they drafted Gordon. Maybe they prefer not to create more of a QB controversy than what is already in place.
If Gordon ends up being on Seattle’s practice squad, they can sign him.

I say that to say this every single team drafted players that their fans will question we don’t know how good these players will be until they get on the field let’s give them a chance! If the players don’t pan out then Pace will be fired at the end of the season but the draft is a crap shoot if nothing else let’s give them a chance! 🐻⬇️
