@Zach Weinmaster How do you defend him at this point, the man has made two locker rooms despise him, he separates himself apart from the team, and then he goes out and looks like he’s never played the game before. You are making excuses for Russ when he is the central problem with the offense.

Over the next course of this year and next, we are gonna find out what Russ is really made of! He is clearly in the fire right now. I think it’s gonna be really interesting to see if he can survive it. This will either make him or break him!

@Michael Stewart I beg to differ. I just don’t believe a guy who’s been to 9 pro bowls and has played this game at a high level for several years has suddenly forgot how to play this game. I believe this may have been a case of a really bad marriage between the QB and the head coach. They just didn’t mesh.
@Christopher Lucas yep and then his backup stepped in and also made the pro bowl. If you actually watched Russell game after game in Seattle you would see he had these same issues in Seattle, but in Seattle he has legs and deep ball was more accurate. You take those two things away and add in a guy who thinks he can pass from the pocket and this is what you are left with. Now if you only watched Wilson on a few games now and then and just saw highlights on sportscenter, then I understand why you think he was a top tier QB. I just say the fall off is not as big as everyone is making it to be.
@Christopher Lucas Russ has never been a top tier player, Seattle made him look a lot better.

Everyone has third ups and down. You will improve as a team. I have no doubt. You line men need to start being a team and take care of your QB! This is a must. Keep playing hard. Your day will come.

The draft capital and the perks and the 245mil this organization gave up was for your performance ON the field…not in the press conferences. It’s like he’s smiling knowing he’s a diva and has the attention on him and like he’s crushing it on these pressers.

The speech that should have been said Russ; We loved Hackett, great guy and at the end of the day this is a successful organization and a business. At this point with our performance this year and before I got here, we as a team need to all understand we’re replaceable. With my style of play and the let down of this season; my job is on the line and I realize and respect that. With that said there is nothing else to talk about, thank you. Have a great day.
He started out authentic but then faded away into lulling the press with the same bull talk that makes me believe; are you’re even remotely understanding the magnitude of the situation? Forgive me if there is something physically wrong, I get that but. Is it altitude sickness? I just don’t know anymore!

And when you think about teams that have beat us, this will help us bring superbowls to Denver. It’s been wild making excuses all year long. Especially when we have the greatest players right here. And we gotta be better, but we won’t, but I can always say we gotta be better cause we always comPete, and every day, I think about winning games, but we don’t. We go through battles, peaks, and valleys, I won’t fear em I just lose em.

Coming from a Giants fan in Seattle, I’ve always been a fan of Russell Wilson. He is a great football player and an even better human being. I hope he bounces back soon because he doesn’t deserve all the hate he’s getting.
He deserves it. He’s an athlete getting paid like the best in the game and playing like one of the worst. Getting criticized and hated on comes with the territory of being a professional athlete. He’s getting paid millions and getting hate on the internet. He’s just fine.
He deserves because he wanted the money and the commitment now where is the expectation that comes with it

Denver 17 – KC 14 . I know what you are thinking . However, this has been an inconsistent season across the board. I am a Bill’s fan , and I can point to lots of things my team needs to improve.
I think the Denver defense will step up . I think Russel will do just enough to win

@Chosen one apparently you cant read . I said I was a Bills fan. My point is Denver has a decent defence . Wilson has something to prove . I think there is is a shot. Now , its not likely but pride can motivate a team . No one would be ok with what happened last week . They should be motivated

The only way to begin to fix Russ is to bench him and see if that sparks that chip on his shoulder mentality. He was at his best when he had something to prove. The issue is that Russ is not a pocket passer, he has an issue seeing over his lineman. Not to mention his own hunger to always make a big play creates mediocrity on the offenses he leads. He went through 3 OC’s in Seattle and it was never Russ’ fault? He is a QB that relied alot on his athletic ability to escape pressure and chuck a deep ball. Take those things away and he is very average. The crazy thing is I always thought he was a good leader but when you segregate yourself from the same guys who go to battle for you, now I have to even question that.

You need to make changes Russ. The whole team is on notice. Can you give us a win over the chiefs? Then we would start believing in you again.
Paton should approach Davis/McDaniels and see if they’d trade their 2nd round pick this upcoming and next draft, and Derek Carr to the Broncos for Wilson and 1/2 of Wilson’s salary contract. McDaniels always thinks he’s the genius and can turn a QB around. He might be crazy enough to do it. It’d be minimizing the losses here in Denver. Plus, you’d get a QB who doesn’t need an amazing run game and o-line to look like a good QB.
Thank you Broncos for providing this entertainment for all NFL fans. Russ committed a heist and the entire NFL is entertained watching this. I say Russ earned his money. 😂
Russ and the Broncos will be better next year, Russ will be more comfortable next season majority of us have setbacks and we bounce back and people can be rude when we struggle people are quick to kick you while your down let’s lift one another up. Good luck Denver Broncos and Russell Wilson for keeping a positive attitude.
