Just wait till he gets tired of running the ball himself… he is very focused on being a pass QB. Can Russ pass? Hell yeah!… just not up the middle very well. I really hated when he got paid cause he quit running the ball at almost any cost. I hope he finds a good groove there!
Can’t turn him into a better QB as he’s taking that much money and about to turn 34.
No sugarcoating what a terrible disaster Russ was to put up an abysmal game of almost only checkdowns and over/under throws. Big giant loser lost bad in his home turf and against his backup of the last 3 years who is ranked as the worst starter in the league!

@Richy Peyton Manning had the best season statistically in 2013 which was 2 years before he retired. There’s no reason Wilson couldn’t do the same and turn that experience into wins.
In the NFL, Super Bowl contenders occasionally lose games they should have won, AND win games they probably should have lost. It’s football folks. Just get into the playoffs… that’s all. If you win your division, great. But, just get in.

@Angel Lopezz 3 teams from the same division can make the playoffs just look at NFC West last year. Rams, 49ers, Cardinals all made the playoffs. Even if we get off to a slow start I guarantee you we can pick it up at the end and get a wildcard spot at least. The gaiders are the worst team in the division not us 😂
Fax I’m a Seahawks fan and if we are gonna rely on our opponent fumbling 2 times on the goal line then we going 1-16. Good game broncos we couldn’t stop u guys but we still somehow won. I ain’t complaining
Russell always says the right thing, always positive and looking ahead. I love my Seahawks and loved Russell. I was surprised as heck how good the Seahawk’s offense was in the first half but then in the second half, you saw the more realistic Seahawk’s offense and Denver’s defense. I’m hoping we meet the Broncos in the superbowl in about 3 years from now.

@Zenobia K Dithers yeah apparently it was in his will. She just sold the raptors, and she has until 2024 to sell the Seahawks. I guarantee it if Allen was still here, they would’ve cleaned house. Russ looked rusty a bit with some of his throws but I give him a slide because he didn’t play in the preseason and their isn’t much chemistry. But mannnn he only got sacked like 1 time last week, his OL looked pretty good compared to what we have him. He was actually in the pocket, looking confident and didn’t force anything. I wish we could’ve kept him but we failed him at every chance. And people can say his cap space was an issue but He took a friendlier deal with the broncos before playing a single snap. Along with our drafting. Yeah, Bezos owns Amazon. But I hope he doesn’t, he will be like Jerry Jones with the Cowboys. Doesn’t care about the actual game, just wants to market and entertain for profit.

We started out 3-0 last year with Teddy and then finished 7-10 🤣 it’s only the beginning. So many games left to play 🙌
I’m not worried about our season with Russ. But that Teddy season, Lock was responsible in part for 5 of those losses by not being able to step up when Teddy went down
@yyJohnny I said Lock was part of the losses. He threw a TD against the Bengals but he also had a ball stripped out of his hands. And the Chiefs? Dude literally tried to hug the Chiefs defender on the fumble recovery because he was afraid to tackle him. Not to mention, he didn’t help put up any points against Baltimore when he got a chance to play the whole 2nd half and he was at the forefront of losses against the Raiders and Chargers too

Denver had the fourth most offensive yards in week 1. Their defense also only allowed 34 passing yards in the second half.
The obvious coaching errors and penalties killed them and essentially lost the game, but the previously stated shows promise going forward.

@Malcolm Reid I think Russ for sure knew he wanted to go to Broncos bcus he refused a few other places. After the research, When it comes down to it, Pete and Seattle wanted a good QB to completely control to get wins. Russ wanted to build his own legacy and have a team support him. To each his own, it is what it is. I hope they win their next game!

@pnaciii I don’t see that when all he wanted was an OL and offensive decisions. Pete just wants to run the ball and tbh if I’m RW3 and I’m pushing 34 and everybody keeps saying LOB carried me, im looking to prove them wrong. That’s just me. We have drafted 14 combined WRs, TEs, and RBs since 2018 compared to 2 OLs( 2 of which came from this past draft). Wilson wants to win NOW. He knew the hawks weren’t going anywhere hell even I’m hawks fan and know we ain’t. He went somewhere that were ready. Can’t blame him for it 🤦🏾♂️
@Malcolm Reid they didn’t want to pay him 45-50 million a year in his 30s, while Denver hasn’t had a great QB in awhile so they were ready to pay. Seahawk fans got it out of their system and Wilson will be just fine once the Broncos clean up the fumbles and penalties. Good running game and a contendor.

This game was the best game of the first week of the new season. It was very competitive and not one-sided. You had to keep watching or you might miss an important down or score. Enjoyed it very much. Russell Wilson will do well in Denver. Look out NFC bc we can’t say who will stand at the end of season.
He is totally a great leader and a QB you want playing for your team. LETS RIDE.
