Happy to have him but it’s ridiculous that almost every other franchise QB has better WRs than Lamar, and if you count college this is Bateman’s 3rd season that is being overtaken by injury issues.

I won’t discredit this move at all, but “win now mode” would be getting a solid weapon for Lamar at wide receiver. Something he has not had in his career… I’m just tired of the f/o under valuing the wr position.

@Han Freeman Bro no receiver on this team would even start for the 2012 Super Bowl team… You and many other Ravens fans are content with being mediocre, and I was at one point as well until I really took a hard look at this team.
@TheWrathOfRyan mediocre in the way they’re the 3rd highest scoring offense right. Check on the status of jacoby Jones and Torrey Smith because they’re pretty much just duvernay and Hollywood brown in a good year
@Han Freeman anquan boldin was a super star WR and borderline hall of famer. Without him we weren’t winning the super bowl he balled out in the playoffs. The last time we made a deep playoff run was in 2014 when we had steve smith sr. only 1 playoff win since then. Hollywood had a good game against the titans in the playoffs but hes not on the team anymore and bateman has barely played. Teams will be focused on andrews alone in the passing game and any team with decent corners will be able to shut down our passing attack with ease, especially with greg roman calling the plays.
@Evan Thank you Evan. Like I’ve been saying they have to get better at the wr position. This team is not a Super Bowl team strictly because they won’t make the key moves to improve this offense. Lamar has always done more with less and will continue to do so.
I love this move, it just makes me sad that this most likely means Queen is gone. I know he hasn’t been a superstar for us, and he’s been pretty okay this season. Very hit and miss, but with Smith we have a bona-fide superstar at lb. Yeah we’re gonna have to pay him and Lamar but we don’t have a lot of people that are gonna get BIG money. Think guys, that’s why they didn’t go get a star wr after Roquan because we couldn’t pay one and our dudes. Yes we need wr help obviously but we haven’t had too many issues with scoring. The issues come when Lamar and Co need 10 or 14 points to get back into the game. If we can stay ahead the whole game or within a td, the offense is fine, and the best way to stay in close games is to make a trade for a superstar like this.

Not really. But it do mean we can delay blitz n cover n fly around. Both guys are a math for the other because one can go n the other can spy n both see ball hit ball just off instincts. Like batman n robben purple crusaders

I just don’t understand why Ravens Twitter can’t understand 1:07…..only 3 mid WR’s were traded (Chase, Robbie, Toney), 2 of which had similar trade compensation as we got for a 3-down top-10 LB. WRs just cost too much these days and glad Ravens got the much better value in getting an All-Pro LB rather than another mid WR who might get 3-4 targets in our offense. IN DECOSTA WE BIG TRUZZ!!!!

The Ravens still need a least two #1 wide receivers, the more depth you have the better. Where’s our version of AJ Brown or Stefon Diggs? Lamar Needs more offensive support and Bateman seems like he can’t stay healthy.
