Most times the offensive players are in space cause the defensive line isn’t getting pressure or doing well in the run game so the bears defense has to make tackle in open space one on one which against pro football players isn’t as easy as it would be if the offense had pressure on them and their was a guy within a couple yards of them when they caught the ball or got slowed down by the defensive line

@Oliver Lacey Honestly we need more from every single person in all 3 phases. He’s clearly supposed to be the leader of the defense though so he has to find a way to raise not only his game, but the game of others. If he wants to be paid like the best, then he has to that because that’s what the best at their positions do.
@Josh317 I agree to some degree , the dline is new and Quinn is a one trick pony . Hicks , Nichols and Goldman were the run stuffers that pushed the pockets. It’s kind of unrealistic to ask R. Smith to make the lbs play better because they are not that talented to begin with. The secondary has been suspect since Vic went to Denver. Even though E. Jackson has raised his level of play this season
@Josh317 I agree, everyone remembers the HUGE impact Khalil Mack had on the Bears defense, thats why hes paid big bucks. Khalil Mack elevated the entire performance of the defense, those are special players and true leaderships

Something is weird there. Sanborn makes the 53 man roster and Joe Thomas goes to practice squad. When Matthew Adams gets hurt, they call up Thomas and start him over Sanborn. Why?!?!

@rob daniel they probably just want sanborn to gain experience being on the same field with the players. He’s up in their with the huddles and he sees what the players are thinking of.
The reporter ask about J. Johnson and R. Smith said he gets a chance to prove himself since alot of people don’t respect him. How is he going to change people perception against Carson Wintz? J. Johnson hasn’t stop anyone worth talking about it. He not Vildor but he’s no pro bowler
