Doc Mitchell

Not a big fan of the name but I did see acrisure is paying three times the money as Heinz was. So hopefully we get cheaper ticket prices

Edit: Maybe the facilities will be upgraded if the ticket prices aren’t lower. They gotta be doing something with all that money

    Howard Griego

They plan on making money not helping folks. They’re associated with insurance. You ever get anything free besides the paper your bill is on? You get charges for that too. It won’t upgrade the money to get better players either.

    Steelmanfan1111

Tickets go up so there new investment makes a killing 😀

    cathryn c

That is the ONLY thing.. I πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ€¬πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ’―πŸ€¬πŸ€¬ DONT like the name ( A – cry- sure). I don’t care how you accent the name πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½πŸ‘ŽπŸ½

    life with Jonathan

I’m still calling it Heinz field. Till they build a new stadium.

    cathryn c

@life with Jonathan that is what they should have done in the 1st place. Then all would be πŸ‘ŒπŸΎ but you DO NOT defame the name of that stadium just for MONEY … TOO many memories in Heinz β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ‘ŒπŸΎ

    IvorMektin: Colonizer Mindset

Gregg Johnson

Acrisure sounds like an off brand protein shake. What happened to family, pride and tradition was more important than money Steeler mentality?

Jpark_05

The conference begins at 08:40!

    John Doe

    Good looks

JMoney23

Please bring us back the gold helmets πŸ–€πŸ’›

FourthDownBack

I’m Acrisure that no Steeler fan is going to call it this, so no matter how much money it’s makes it isn’t part of our culture.

    Alex. P

That’s why they will make in apart of the culture…. Y’all dummies think it was always called Heinz??? I bet when they changed from 3 rivers to hinz people was mad. Y’all only looking at name

    Cody Skaggs

@Alex. P right i don’t get why fans are pissed people go two watch steelers football not two cry over the name of the stadium 🀣🀣🀣

Ronn Rayy

This was the biggest press conference I’ve had to watch since the day we hired Coach T. I wasn’t happy about Cowher leaving and I wasn’t really pleased with hearing that Heinz was no more, and both press conferences helped me realize that the Rooney’s made a 5 ⭐ decision once again. I think anybody who’s made at this decision, needs to watch this press conference.

Brem Duckett

I would love to know how this helps us… compete with other stadiums… πŸ’©πŸ’©πŸ’©. We should all just keep calling it Heniz.

    Ayo Ty

They are paying much more than Heinz so they can improve all types of things in the stadium and outside of it more and more teams have had to change their stadium deals because how much the league is growing

Nick Sciulli

Personally I’m just going to start calling it the β€œNorth Shore Coke Plant”

Douglas Dietz

business is business! we still got our team RELAX!

Drumlife78

New team , new start, it’s the beginning of a new Era. Let’s go steelers πŸ‘

    Steven Smith

    Best comment I so agree

    David Schalit

    Not a great start.

    Nick Warren

Get ready for the Ls the new era will me

Joe

Love mark throwin in β€œHeinz field” love to see it. We will never let it go it’ll always be Heinz

SteelerfanMatt T

Still sounds like something you give the elderly in a nursing home .

tthomaselli2

To me, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ stadium will always be called Heinz Field.

Brian Keaton

For at least a couple of years it’s either going to be called “The A” or “The stadium formerly known as Heinz Field. “

Steelers Warrior

As a steelers fan, I will continue to call this stadium Heinz Field.

Dillwidit

15:54 says it all. go Steelers! nobody is caring when we stackin dem W’s.
thank you Greg & Acrisure!(Thomas and Mr.Rooney too) please get us whatever Tomlin feels necessary while you at it and we can surely move forward together πŸ–€πŸ’›πŸ–€

Dillwidit

Any great memory from past can be remembered as a Heinz field memory. those never change. but this company, backed by a somewhat die hard Steeler fan himself put his company’s name on this stadium! to back the Steelers. like Rooney said ” the bottom line best way to stay competitive” more or less. He, and that company deserve our respect. we ain’t the ‘dawg pound’ over here, we appreciative.
and we suprising people this year already. these are the years we can afford to stay competitive as far as salaries and players go. no high end qb contract. and now ‘the backing’ of a fast growing company. and if that means what Rooney said, it helps our Steelers to remain competitive than what true Steeler fan can truly be against it??
when we headin to the AFC ship this year in “Acrisure Stadium’ noones caring then!

Dillwidit

love it… Greg “with that”,
speaking on how much $ the Steelers would need for naming rights
“it was wham bam thank you ma’am over and done wit”. Greg said… “we billionaires over here”!
He of course said alot of good things as well. thanks for the support Greg. Anything that improves the Steelers I am πŸ’―% all for!

MrLotto

Great move…now, we should get new unis
