    Hopefully he doesn’t let him being close to home become a distraction or make him too “comfortable” (lazy) in his day to day off the field regiment… Dont get me wrong, I don’t think he will…mainly because he is a hungry rookie and this is a new stage, trying to set himself up financially and otherwise for his future/family. But I can imagine how it could VERY easily become a distraction… just look at GVR..Not saying he was great in the first place, but I can imagine, especially after years of being in the league already, how playing for your hometown team, being surrounded by your lifestyle and family and friends, etc. would take away time from his preparations on a daily basis.. (At least he was able to enjoy a year before being released today).

I’m a Florida boy born and raised still live here. I’ve never been to NY in my life. All I know is my initials are JET and my favorite color is green, that was good enough for 8yr old me.
I’ve been a JETS fan since. Never left the wagon. I swear on everything I will see Jermaine Johnson play in JETS Green. I’ve been FSU my whole life however. This makes it way more special. Let’s go JJ!!!!!!!!!
