Preseason scores don’t matter, the real winners are the teams that come away without injuries and maybe discover some talent on their rosters.
Literally, every completion in this drive was because the Giants back ups had terrible coverage. They were playing man coverage on the outside but they kept losing track of the ball and running 5 feet in front of the receivers. Yes it looks good, but in the regular season this isn’t going to be impressive because he’s not gonna complete so many passes

Zappe is our 3rd string and Nixon is like our 5th string WR Honeslty impressive considering the pats started pretty much no starts besides Mitchell and Butler.
@Ondo Vids just look at how the corners are still running while the ball is being caught. Yes everyone is there, but if the receiver is making the adjustment, shouldn’t the corners make a better attempt of contesting the catch?

I think Bill drafted him strictly because he liked Zappe as a prospect; I sincerely doubt B.B cares about what Mac Jones thinks about it.

Zappe looked awesome
Very early days, but Zappe can fling it. He looked poised for a rookie in his first game. Might be good for Mac to have a young QB with some skills holding the clip board. The OC for the Patriots Joe Judge was giving away his play calls. When it was a pass was called he moved down the field. When it was a run, he moved to his left into the backfield side. I hope somebody mention this.
I cant wait till 2 years from now when we trade him for a first round pick to a struggling team

I love zappe, I admit his decision making can be spotty at times but he has some great awareness, I think he could have a little bit of play time next year as jones’ backup
