@DOS-FS Lady Well, it is one of those strange things. I came to the US in 93 visiting my then girl-friend who happened to live in Huntley, Illinois. And her dad had tickets for the Bears-Packers game. So we went and though we were up in the bleachers it was still amazing to see the game and the two interception returns for TDs by the Bears up close (they won, coincidentally). And that did the damage, I got hooked on a lost football team and immediately startet hating the Packers;) Here in Europe watching NFL games on Sundays, staying up for the Bears for late games. Agonizing about QB mistakes like that pouting fool Cutler, wasted first round picks and all that. It still seems crazy how an organisation with that history manages to not have a halfway decent QB in decades. Even McMahon wasn’t one, the 1985 team just needed a more or less apt game manager. I am sure that most football fans would see it as sacrilege to switch teams. So do I. So I will either endure and hate myself and the Bears forever or just stop watching American football altogether. I prefer “real” football, anyway.
