Rod Wood may not be a “football guy”, but he’s a hell of a business guy. Props to him for pulling this off. I think we finally have the right combination of people in that organization to build around on all levels.
People give him a lot of crap but he came in and actually worked on improving the non-football aspects. Ford Field renovations, getting the draft, getting a home game to finish the season (they had a 3 or 4 year streak where it was away games before he came in), upgrading the weight training facility, improving training camp for the fans, and just more.
