“instincts” are everything in football. Being able to breakdown where the ball is and then take the quickest angle to it, is more valuable than any timed speed event. Of course a player has to be able to run at a certain level, but the difference between 4.29 and 4.45 is nothing really.
After seeing the play where Rasoul came all the way across the field to make the tackle, I don’t know how coaches overlooked him? He showed the instincts and ability to take the correct angle that are vital to any defender!!
