You could tell day one we brought Darnold in Robby wasn’t about it, and he was right. Darnold is a 2nd string guy, Worth 3 wins a season and then duds.
Right Darnold is horrible

Generally you are right, but why did you do so well to start with Sam and then things just fell apart. That’s what I’d like to know.
Why is Robby the only guy holding Sam accountable? People need to get angry because this is terrible. I have seen no improvement.
No improvement? That’s an understatement. It’s been a precipitous collapse. It’s a combination of awful quarterback play, awful Oline, and poor play calling.

Mr lawyer you can’t blame people for wishing, and dreaming, and hoping the guy would turn into something. OK, it’s true, he had a lousy line, he had a lousy offensive system, he had lousy coaching, this you cannot deny, so anyone who wanted desparately for a QB to be good, will make excuses for him that it isn’t his fault, and they were right.
Apparently, when Sam got all these negatives to his play corrected he did play well, but what the hell happened, he’s been playing like he right back in that bad Jets situation he was in all those years ago. What happened?
You can pretty much tell a guy by the skills he brings to the table. Darnold was a big deal, the great white hope of a metropolitan area, and no greater flop ever happened for the Jets. You could say Chrisitian Hackenberg was a greater flop, but he never played, the Jets never gave Hackenberg an opportunity to be bad, and the QB after him I cant remember his name. All prototype QBs who under good coaching leadership might have turrned out to good pro QBs, but were never given an opportunity like Sam had.
My opinion Sam wasn’t any better than those other two, only difference is he got a chance they started him right away. That was the plan. The other two fell victim to the sit for year curse all rookies used to come into the league under, but that is a curse no more.
Rookies today are better ready to play in the NFL and some are actually flourishing. Kyler Murray is an amazement to me, as is Lamar Jackson, these guy came in ready for the game.
Anyway, Cam is back and he will take over at some point, and you should have a couple of years of an improved consistent team going forward, but wait you a Jets fan or a Panthers fan? Or both?

they keep saying get him more involved every week yet they fail to do it every week . he goes from being a 1200 yard wideout to pretty much not being involved at all . need better play calling like last year or the first 4 weeks this season or we need a change in Qb
Robby speaking facts. Despite his own issues, he’s the only one calling out the issues with this team. Instead of sugar coating everything like the rest of the coaching staff
that’s the issue tho, he shouldn’t be getting on anyone given his own struggles, imagine if Sam carried on like he did for every drop he made this year, if anyone should be doing the screaming at Sam it should be DJ.

Robby didnt like Sam from NY. He knew the issues way before we did. He was happy to get away from him and now its like Sam is following him. Robbys nightmare is Sam. Last year Robby had a great year and this year not even close. Its Sam not Robby.
