Rob Rang’s NFL Draft Preview: Safeties

@Aron the media doesn’t have to tell me anything. Im a Seahawks fan and I watch the games. He isn’t that good in coverage and thats a fact. He can handle the flat and cover a tight end but match him up with receivers?? No he’s a linebacker and belongs in the box. We need to get the production we paid for

@Dylogwapo I’ve watched every seahawks game and him and quandre are the only 2 safeties on our roster that can play deep, why do you think we stopped playing cover 2 after he got injured. He was probably our 2nd best defensive player last year mostly because of his coverage. And I don’t know what you mean by match up with receivers that isn’t a safeties job to man up on them

@Aron u clearly don’t know what defense we run. And depending on the look of the offense he would end up on a receiver. He was most effective in the box like he has always been. Don’t try to make him into something else. If we were to get someone like kyle Hamilton Jamal is definitely staying in the box

@Dylogwapo you have no idea what you’re talking about he wasn’t as effective in the box last year, we played a lot of 2 high safety looks where he had the best impact on our defense. Jamal would send hamilton to the box if anything
