He’s being a team player but I know deep down he wants that ball in his hands. We all wanna see a Gronk spike buddy. It’s coming this week I can feel it!
I don’t think Gronk gets enough credit for always putting his team first above his own accolades while him himself knowing how much of a generational talent he is. He literally does what ever he has to, to help his TEAM win. Wether that be pancaking LB,s all game to open up the run game to having 8 Rec for 120 yds and 2 TDS. This man literally never complains no matter the circumstance it’s all about what he can do to help his team win always and that’s one quality that makes him unique aside from the talent he has.
Obviously all props to him as I’m a fan of his but is also completely due to Belichick’s school. Is the same as Brady, same as Edelman, same as any player under BB coaching.
@Luis Torreón Most of these players are about the team before going into the NFL. Yes there are some who lash out due to the pressure of a situation but most just want to play football. Belichick isn’t the only reason these guys act like this. He is the reason why they can compartmentalize so effectively each week but those players still have to improve themselves.
Luis Torreón Naw don’t hype that man up like that. Theres tons of players out in the league who are just that, good teammates because there good people. I’m a fan of ASU and Gronk was always like that at ASU and Brady was like that in Michigan. Bilichick is a good coach but some people were brought up to be good teammates. Bill had nothing to do with that
BeastMode 21 I don’t agree with that at all most players are selfish and make it look like they are team guys until they win and don’t get the stats they want because when they win let’s say for a WR 13 targets with 9 Rec for 130 yds with 2 TD but let’s say they win and they have 5 targets with 3 rec 40 yds and 0 TDS they cry and aren’t happy even though they still won just look at Antonio brown he’s literally a prime example. A lot of these players care about there own personal stats before the team it jus looks like that because when they win they get theirs.
They’re not gonna involve him until November then he’s gonna explode with catches
We waited all year for Ochocinco to do so, all the way up to the SB against the giants. It never came. Gronk needs to block and stay as healthy as possible. This is all part of the plan. I’m sure when the playoffs come he will get more amped up.
We are saving our secret weapon in plain sight for the playoffs

@BeastMode 21 TB12s elbow was maxed on snaps last year. Thankfully nothing popped and no surgery, but there are limits and diminishing returns.
Everyone is making such a big deal aboiy his targetseyd be real they need him to be an elite blocker and if he can come up with come big plays here and there great ! Not to mention his contributions to help develop the other tight ends. He’s a big asset to this team as long as they are winning he’s playing a big part of that .
If in the red zone I feel like if he’s 1-1 still throw it up 6-6 is still big no matter what

Yep. At least we hope so. Gronk is an injury away from being a mental basket case. He knows it. Brady knows it. Bucks brass know it and I know it because I’ve been in that headspace in other ways.

Hey , the man isn’t as fast as he used to be. As a life long NE fan this guy can also block as well as anyone . He loves football and just wants to be on the field .

Guaranteed they are holing him back. He took a full year off and he is injury prone. work him in slowly but toward the end of the year hes going to be catching passes like in NE.
I’d be happy too if I wasn’t getting smashed by defenses the way he was in New England. Keep him healthy for the playoffs.
