I’ll still pick an out-of-retirement Gronk than any other TE around the league right now. Just his blockings alone can make him ahead out of everyone else. And his offense, okay we all know what Gronk can do whenever he has the football.

@Jo K Kelce was a top 10 blocker in 2020 and just put up the greatest season of a TE since George Kittle and Tony Gonzalez. Theres a reason why Kelce had over two times the amount of yards Gronk had in 2020. Theres a reason Kelce had more yards than Gronk in the Super Bowl, yet youre telling me he didnt show up in the Super Bowl🤣.

@New York Bandwagon dude I would take rob Gronkowski now witch he is past his prime over Kittle in his prime lol. Gronk is one of the most dominant players ever George kittle is just the second best tight end in the leauge at the moment after Kelcie. And Gronk was a way better blocker than Kittle you moron I’ve seen Gronk block up some of the best pass rushers ever. Rob Gronkowski put up by far the best season of any tight end ever witch is why a prime Gronk is the best tight end ever.

@Wesley Malutama pass protection isnt as important when it comes to TEs. Thats why they arent offensive lineman.

I disagree every kind of block is important. The more you master, the more well-rounded and impactful you are.
That’s why you’ve seen Gronk shutdown pass rushers like Chase Young in the playoffs.
Long story short, since Gronk is the more well-rounded blocker, it’s clear to me he is still superior to Kittle in term of blocking.
Crazy thing is that this season was gronks first season since his rookie season that he played the entire season (didn’t miss a single game)
He didn’t have to be the main target. So it kept him fresh from taking hits.
