Sherman was a top defensive player he knows what defenses don’t wanna see in certain situations
Also he was never the most athletic CB if I’m correct? He always just seemed to have an unnaturally keen instinct for the ball and an amazing IQ to go along with it
@Ali B6, underrated athlete forsure fast in a straight line decent jumping ability and very lanky but yes most known for his high football IQ
His IQ is insane as an analyst and as a player. What he’s trying to say to these offenses, they’ll never listen because offenses love the numbers and cheap analytics whereas defenses will play you straight up and show you what you need to hear and see.
He is super talented and has such a high football IQ, I love having him on as an analyst

I still don’t understand how you get your 2nd year qb a defensive coordinator as a coach, of course he wasn’t gonna develop and that team was just gonna try to run the ball and play defense, just look at the top 5 offenses from last year, see who that coordinator was on each of them and interview them, I bet kellen Moore would have done a much better job with this team… But as always, there are teams like Dolphins and 49ers who make the right head coach hire and those like the bears that probably shift thru 4,5 coaches and end up hiring a loser like Mike mcchartey in the end anyways

I hit the sack at halftime. Just watched the highlights of the second half. And that’s exactly my assessment of what they did offensively. His legs kept them in the game. And he is a passing QB. He’s still young. And his skill will get better with time and somebody who knows how to develope a young player’s abilities.
Honestly whoever hired him deserves a raise. Not only do we get quality content from him, your ratings are up, we get memes forever, and he’s a cool guy that Sherman. 😎
