Remembering the 1992 LA Riots

The NFL remembers the 1992 Los Angeles Riots on it's 30-year anniversary, which was one of the largest civil unrests in United States history. LA natives and leaders continue to expand the conversation on police/community relations, and reflect on society's efforts to rebuild and unify.

    @☁POPULATION-_-420🌿 all cops are heros

    †RVSTY TEVSPOON†

@DSP Historical Society no they aren’t

    Some abuse power

    You aren’t being realistic

But saying a whole group of people is bad is also ignorant

Eu oro todos os dias para que uma música nossa estoura 🙏🏼🎼 eu tenho fé, e sei que um dia vai chegar o dia 😭🙏🏼🍀.

And kids. Never forget that the rooftops will always speak Korean.

Remember when the NFL focused on the game and only the game?

Support college sports.

    Mike Wazowski

They still are focused on the game….

Do you live under a rock?

    Awake Not Woke

Amen. Keep politics out of sports.

    Yoboi Boy

@Awake Not Woke only when it’s issues related to black ppl. Chanting “let’s go Brandon” at NASCAR events is ok tho.

    Gemini Season 🎮

Didn’t they just release the 2022 schedule? 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Gemini Season 🎮

@Awake Not Woke Just wondering who did Francis Scott Key play for?

Ivanhoe Sanchez

30 YEARS: THE #LARIOTS….

Ladarryle McCalpin

What about Latasha Harlins the girl who was shot and killed over orange juice.

Edward Fights

Let’s relive it: Some criminal caused a bunch of trouble. We saw an edited video and a bunch of brainwashed people fell for a narrative.

    Gemini Season 🎮

King was beating up the cops?

    Mikey Serrano

By criminal, you mean the cops right?

    Edward Fights

@Mikey Serrano Nope. Nothing to mean when it’s Rodney King who was a career criminal. Odd how you’re still obtuse to that.

hector munoz

I remember after the riots people from Compton and all over South Central went to neighboring cities for food n other goods cause everything was burned down alot went to Pomona so crazy so many came for basic things

Jrock El

Wickedness in high places and every cause has an effect.

Frank L

Why is the NFL covering this? I don’t get it. I’m not saying it’s not important, but it seems like a desperate ploy to show that they care about social issues. Sports and entertainment need to realize why people love them so much. It’s the escape from real life

    Acoustic Chords

Because they did Colin keapernick dirty

    ed weer

They love criminals like King. Look at who they have play in their league.

    †RVSTY TEVSPOON†

@J Q did you not see the facemask on ramsey

You are telling me with HD 360 sky cams they didn’t see the facemask TD that gave bangles the lead!!

    When all TDs are reviewed

    Wake the hell up

    Hahah you are blind

Rams weren’t supposed to win that game

Bangles should not even have beat the raiders …..go watch the final play should have been a PI

Yes nfl is fixed but sometimes it doesn’t go as planned and LVI was a perfect example

Elephant Grass

So in other words, things are better for black people as compared to 1992. Got it.

Dawson Cravens

Don’t know if I would of put John gruden in this😂😂

Agyenim Agyei-Boateng

so……is the NFL now saying Colin was right?? or they just using his image without acknowledging the fact that they did him dirty?

    JayPee25

the nfl kicked him out of the league basically and now they are using his image as a hero for their league wtf lmao

    SW Productions

@JayPee25 They didn’t kick him out. The niners offered him a contract extension and he rejected it because he thought it wasn’t enough money (after only winning 2 games as a starter). After that, no teams offered him contracts. He had the opportunity and chose not to take it

    ed weer

@JayPee25 He wasn’t any good and wanted starter money lol

    Kevin W

NFL never had an issue with what Colin stood for … the problem was practicing activism at the workplace … SIMPLE

Awesome!💙

Cars 2 POV

When there is something that goes against our beliefs, or someone makes a bad choice that we don’t like, the way to deal with it is the resistance of humble speech and not violence. Violence is not attractive. Character is.

Can’t believe that these riots happened 30 years ago

FlextimeGaming

So moral of the story is: don’t lead police on a car chase

Meek Meeker

NFL, you should stick to playing football and stop with the politics. Talk about all the domestic violence incidents you’ve swept under the rug if you want to talk about something other than football

Marlow ASMR

Awesome!💜
