I feel like the Dolphins will take a big step forward.
The kid will be fine. If Jimmy G looks very decent for 5 years, no reason why Tua is bad in this west coast offense filled with lethal weapons
He looks way more confident and comfortable with all the new additions to the offense, i think hes gonna light up the score board
How do you know he looks more confident and comfortable w/ out seeing him play in the season? Honestly, I have an unpopular opinion here but: I think Bill Belichick will school their first year head coach and grab a dub week 1.
@SaltyJordy The dolphins got a lot better and the patriots got worse. Tua already has a 3-0 record against the pats. What makes you think that is going to change?

@SaltyJordy bruh did you not see him throw that 52 year bomb to tyreek hill? No ways he wouldve did that last year, of course his confidence is alot more better! And thats jus preseason buddy. Had tua stayed in the whole game, tua wouldve easily put up 300 yards with tyreek hill playing, and waddle didnt even play either.. thats the funny part…all the new additions to the dolphins definitely made tua feel alot more comfortable! Dolphins win by 4..

Tua missed the playoffs by 1 game the past 2 years & only behind Buffalo 2 games last year. Everyone talks like Miami didn’t improve enough 2 win that one more game. Tua this Tua that. Tua has best a lot of the QBs everyone has ranked above him INCLUDING Lamar Jackson – Kyler Murray – Jimmy Grapolo – Mac Jones – Justin Herbert & I could go on. Stop hating & give the young man props for all the adversity he’s overcame to make it this far. Any REAL football player coach analyst would respect that much about him. Everyone else is just hating… Fins Up 👍
@Affordable Shoe Review he meant Tua outperformed Lamar, which he did, Lamars only production in that game came in garbage time when the game was already over. This is the problem with boxscore hunting, you only get 10% of the picture of the game. He said best, not beat

I think Tua will be great this season and be a top 5 QB in the league. He has the weapons now, and he is very accurate.
Not huge mvp numbers, but if tua can produce and stay healthy and Miami is a playoff team; tua gonna be alight with his new Weapons

@SG02 that’s an average of 265 yards per game and less than 2 TDs per game. Absolutely doable.

Tua needs to be who he is (precise, accurate, smart decisions) and not try to become what the media wants him to be (another Marino). 65%, 4000 yards, and 2 TDs per game (34 on year) would be acceptable. Just keep the chains moving and let playmakers be playmakers.
As a dolphin fan I have literally never seen anyone legitimately claim Tua is the best quarterback ever. I’m so tired of this both sides garbage.

Wolfe (and Baldinger) do their homework and are the most objective national sports media observers on MIA. In all this Tua, Tua, Tua 24/7 distraction, everyone but Wolfe keeps missing the Dolphins D. With everyone back from the second half 2021 top 4 performance and reinforced with Ingram and Flowers setting the edge, Wolfe is correct this can be an elite D.
