He can’t do that without the threat of the deep pass. Allen and Mahomes are able to run the ball so well because they can throw a great deep ball. This forces line backers and corners to clear the middle of the field and all Allen and Mahomes have to do is get past defensive line
Yes he can, he’s done it every yr. He’s a much better runner than Allen and Mahomes (Mahomes isn’t even a good runner imo) because he’s elusive and agile. Lamar will be the Jordan of the NFL if he continues to progress as he has and I think he will. The deep threat will be there this yr with Bateman and maybe even Likely.
