Hey GRO… Lamar is a threat to break 30 at any time… you keeping in the pocket limits this…. Lamar’s threat to run open’s his windows… its not very hard.
Lamar keeps himself in the pocket. Moving the pocket is not a good strategy unless you’re booting from under center. Lamar needs to let it rip or get out of there quicker. He’s freezing in the pocket
@Frank L If I’m a D coordinator, this isn’t much mystery to the current offense. All, I’m saying is you have the best athlete on the field and you keep in pocket. Design plays to keep the D guessing. If you know Lamar is going to be 7 yards back, its not very hard to defend Lamar.

Lamar is doing too many side arm throws . Even a midget could swat them down . His throwing motion is looking more and more like Tebow . He has become predictable and defenses recognize that . I won’t fault the O line .. Anyone that can stand there for 7 seconds and try to find a target .. Means the O line is doing something right . I think Lamar is great . But I also think after making those insane runs and getting hit throws off his targeting system . I can’t imagine getting slammed and get up and throw an accurate ball . One week he breaks records on accuracy and the next it looks bad .. Regardless .. I think he’ll find that rhythm and get on track ..

What needs to happen is the passing routes need to stop running into each other or go in the same direction. There needs to be routes that give Lamar a clear check down over the middle instead of the flat. And stop calling passing plays that take forever to develop.
If the other team has a dominant star pass rusher, give the Tackles some chip help from the RB or TE.
You know what that offense is called, the spread offense. Greg Roman is obsessed with this Pistol for some very unnerving reason as if he’s trying to prove it’s still a relevant offense. John Harbaugh seems to be ok with his assistants making egotistical calls, he did allow his defense to run a Zero Fire Blitz on 4th and 11 with a secondary littered with back ups.

Go look at Dan Orlovsky twitter he breaks down a few plays. The route running is such a jumble mess guys next to each other triple covered, sloppy route running. I thought Tee Martin was supposed to help fix that. He and Roman are failing and it’s obvious if u watch the receivers run routes.
The positional coaches don’t draw up the plays, Roman draws the plays and Harbaugh reviews the script and playcalling sheet. No more pointing fingers and getting other people fired.
@nikeguy2 Yeah this is on Harbs ultimately as he signs off on everything. And Roman has been better this year but he’s still drawing up some silly calls. But ultimately with all of the missed throws, sacks, and drops, it’s hard not to say the main problem has been personnel.
@Anthony That exactly my problem, Roman has improved but I have to be honest, he doesn’t fit the scheme. I was watching Top 100 two years ago and a player noted, completely unsolicited, that the Ravens are notorious around the league for the Cover 0 blitz, yet Wink still calls it ineffectively.
Harbaugh needs to own these mistakes and stop letting players eat crow. Harbaugh has never been a leader in my opinion and it started with Joe Flacco’s attitude and his insistence on making him the franchise QB when that dude didn’t even care about football. He got paid, had 7 kids and turned into a journeyman immediately.

@Tonja Bowman We should have shut them down and out and had we scored on that first possession, I believe we would have Lamar needs to stop making bad mistakes and take care of the ball, period!
