Dre

Huge ravens fan but we are far from elite. We need some serious changes man !

jama raimer

Really? With that offense line. Maybe if it’s addressed like how the Chiefs fixed theirs in one off-season

    Michael Hession

WE WERE THE ONES TO LET THEM DO THAT! Well at least Odafe Oweh is a stud.

meme.tempss

yes we are ☠️ as long as we have greg roman as our OC we’ll never make an AFC championship game. how are we ever gonna compete with them?

    Tyronenotthiccc

Exactly, we need a OC with a good passing attack while lamar can still run the ball just as efficiently.

    Trey Wilson

@Tyronenotthiccc Lamar doesn’t need a bunch of designed runs, I don’t want him running 20 times a game. What the point of having Gus and Dobbins then? Most of Lamar’s runs should come off scrambling

    Tyronenotthiccc

@Trey Wilson Lamar could be making big plays if he ran the ball too.

    Trey Wilson

@Tyronenotthiccc yea but his best runs are off scrambling

KeepingItReal

Talent wise? Sure. Just need to fix up the O-line and patch up a few spots.
Coaching wise?…we need some changes. (Y’all know who I’m talking about)

    Master_ov1235

    Greg Roman yes

JAR

We need huge changes

Trey Wilson

Hell yes we are, especially coaching wise

    THEBATMAN 396

We having a good coaching staff are y’all high? Seriously we have an amazing front office. Good culture. Good head coach. Good defense. The offense could be better at times but it’s still pretty good. You know we got good coaches when we were still able to make these games close with all our injuries. We’re fine. We’ll be good next year when we’re all healthy. I think it’s the right call trying to win those games. Keep in mind if they went our way we’d have a completely different conversation right now

    KantCghost

    @THEBATMAN 396 8-3 w/ Lamar 0-6 without Lamar. That’s NOT good coaching. That’s Lamar masking BAD coaching.

    Han Freeman

@THEBATMAN 396 have to agree, John Harbaugh is hof caliber and proven to be one of the best. Greg Roman has brought a unanimous mvp and run game of the century. Wink brought a top 5 defense every year. Can’t Haye success

    THEBATMAN 396

@KantCghost So you gonna ignore the fact that we had Tyler Huntley and we still almost beat good teams like the Rams and the Packers? Huntley is good but he’s a backup. The only reason they were close in most of these games is the coaching

    scott wood

I doubt they get the irony of the comment. SMH. This dude talking with a straight face cracks me up

kassaiscool

No disrespect we are not near any of the top teams passing the ball. Lamar is getting better as a passer but to compete with Mahomes on a consistent basis in the playoffs you need a consistent passing game and have to be damn near perfect. Josh allen threw for 300 yards and 4 tds and he had the number 1 defense and still lost.

    Zod-

Lamar still progressing , our O-Line consist of run blockers and lack pass blockers , and got one of the worst passing schemes. Let’s just see man , i think we’re far , but I don’t have any lost hope on winning

xwers1234

I think we are pretty far. Especially when it comes to coaching. The only edge I’d say ravens have, is that at 100% healthy. Our defence top tier.

    Jeremiah Seavey

The defense is the number one issue

    Jeff Martin

@Triston Hyatt I’m with you overall about the decisions to go for 2. But in the Packers game, had we kicked a field goal in the 1st half as opposed to going for a TD on 4th down, we’r wouldn’t have been in that situation at the end of the game.

    james brenan

Coaching has been amazing with how many injuries there have been

    Triston Hyatt

@Trey Wilson among all active head coaches rn he has the 3rd most playoff wins

Barret Oblivion

It’s going to depend on how we adjust in game. So far we have been poor at adjusting in the middle of the game or let the foot off the gas giving teams an opening. AFC elites now will take full advantage of those openings.

majinbull17

Yeah we’re super close, just an offensive coordinator away!

Stop treating us like we’re dumb. It’s getting really old.

    king shark

    👏👏👏👏👏👏😎👍

Ravens Over Everything

The Ravens think we’re stupid. Our O-Line is trash, our coaches are bad (especially Greg Roman) & while our recievers have potential, NOBODY on this roster is at the level of Ja’Marr Chase, Stefon Diggs, Cooper Kupp, Tyreek Hill etc. Build an elite offense around Lamar, fire Greg Roman & bring in a coaching staff who won’t hold us back. Then we’ll deserve to be back in those conversations

    Matt Bergamin

@Ravens Over Everything Thats why its dumb to spend money on WRs when we have a potential superstar in Bateman, he shined with and without lamar whereas Hollywood fell off without lamar. thats a mark of a high level WR right there

    Tueniuan

Build an elite offense around Lamar?! This offense IS built around him. It’s just he’s not at the level of Mahomes, Allen or any of the better QBs when it comes to passing the ball. Yes, he can run around but that’s all. On teams with great QBs that’s the job of the RB. You could bring in any 2 of the mentioned WRs and their production would fall off a cliff because LJ is a mediocre passer. We either should get an elite passer to build the team around or a RB who can throw the ball since our QB can nothing else but run with it.

    Ravens Over Everything

@Matt Bergamin The Buccaneers won a SB with 3 Superstar WRs and a superstar TE who is also the greatest TE of of all time. The Rams have 3 Superstar WRs and they’re heading to the NFC championship (even though 1 is hurt right now). The Bengals have 2 Superstar WRs and a 3rd WR who is a borderline Superstar and they’re heading to the AFC Championship. Was it dumb for them to fill their roster up with that many superstars? Even if Batman becomes a superstar, it’s a good idea to still bring in more stars so your roster can be stacked with an overwhelming amount of talent and so that one star reciever won’t have to carry too big of a load. It’s extremely dismissive to call bringing in more stars “dumb”. Every team still competing in the playoffs is loaded with a ridiculous amount of superstar WRs. Why should the Ravens be complacent and only give Lamar 1 star when every SB contending team he plays has 3?

    Matt Bergamin

@Ravens Over Everything Yeah Obviously if we could have 3 superstar level players at WR we’ll take them. But right now we have other more pressing needs. fix the offensive line and our offense will be pretty dominant, we literally have the best TE in football, bateman, marquise brown (solid player) and 2 really good RBs when they come back healthy. That plus lamar and a strong offensive line is a really good recipe for success, we were literally 8-4 with a top ten offense (despite being decimated by injury) when lamar was playing. OL and defense are the bigger issue and defense isnt far from being good it just needs to be healthier and a couple more pieces at most (ILB and pass rusher)

    Matt Bergamin

@Tueniuan Lamar improved alot as a passer this year it’s just tougher to put up pretty numbers when your OL is mid and you have no threat in the running game outside of Lamar himself. teams figured out that by just sending heavy pressure to the LOS we wont be able to protect lamar or do any sort of running. in 2019 he was eviscerating the blitzes because he had a much better OL and run game to take pressure off him, and his statline shined as a result. the point im making is that his regression in stats is misleading, he won us multiple games this year both with his arm and playing from behind, where defenses are specifically playing the pass. He wasnt doing that for us in 2019 and 2020

Lamar The goat

We’re far we don’t make in game adjustments and Greg is still employed. On the upside we are so loaded with potential that it’s crazy.

    Han Freeman

Roman’s whole scheme is making micro adjustments based on defensive looks 😂

Militant

We are not near those teams. Smh! Those offenses air it out and have explosive playmakers.

BmoreRavensGunney

Get an o-line and lets all find out.

*Go Ravens!*

Marcus Reid

The fact the bills chiefs titans and now the bengals have made it to the afc championship and Lamar and the ravens are 1-3 in the playoffs we aren’t as close as you think I love my ravens but we have to face the fact we are who we are until proven other wise !!

KantCghost

We are FAR off! If you think GRo’s play calling could keep us in PLAYOFF shootouts you’re delusional. His play calling is atrocious. Don’t just look at the regular season examples look at the playoff losses we’ve had with him calling plays.

Ruben Sanchez

We need a philosophy change.. going 1 and done puts all my hopes down

Jerome Bigby

If this organizations biggest take away from this game was “oh when the defense is healthy we can compete” we are doomed for years to come and I hope Lamar doesn’t waste his career here. My takeaway was; these teams have top tier QBs and their organizations have built around them. The Ravens need to do the same for Lamar. Bring up defense when the Chiefs have scored 84 so far in the playoffs, The Bills have scored 83 points and the Bengals have scored 45 points. All these teams have scored more points in two weeks in the playoffs then we have in all our playoffs games under Roman. It’s time to get rid of Roman and build around Lamar Jackson.

    Trey Wilson

The greatest offense can beat the greatest defense, that’s just how it is these days. You don’t gotta have an elite defense like that. They can be average if you have an elite offense, all they gotta do is get a couple of stops, maybe one or two turnovers you’re good

    Alexander Gunn

Roman was brought for Lamar Jackson
    remember that

    YsOSerious

@Alexander Gunn yeah but Roman’s offense has a self life of about two years. Every where he’s been the offense is good the first two years. After that the offense gets stale and stops being effective.

James Williams

If the Ravens are 100% healthy I like their chances against any team in the league!!!

Truth and Consequences

We have a raw, elite QB! He’s beaten ALL those QBS already. Can Lamar finally have the patented great Ravens DEFENSE, and a decent O line from which to throw TDs?! The WR corps is decent; ditto the RBs, if they come back healthy and hungry! Depth is always welcome, of course. After this year, it is a major necessity! 😂
