We drafted these young guys for a reason. I still want a vet but let our young dogs EAT!

    king shark

That sounds like, I like the young guys, but want a vet to lead the team. … ? When are we gonna allow our wrs to be vets. A vet , a team outside of us developed in a passing scheme, and you wanna have him lead a te run game scheme. Think on that.

    cmaxmill

@king shark doesn’t have to lead the team. Just bring experience and leadership qualities. Have him teach our young guys to be vets

    king shark

@cmaxmill …. I understand you, but come on that’s what the coaches are for. Paying a guy millions to be a “presence” guy, no way. Let’s teach from with in, not bring a guy from outside. We gotta stop looking for a player coach. Let the coaches earn they pay

    Willie Johnson

@cmaxmill The biggest enemy of most NFL teams last year was attrition. It wiped out about half the league. Why get vet WRs when they are almost guaranteed not to make it through the season

    DarealQueso Bitxh

@Willie Johnson exactly bro like Sammy Watkins for an example

Shaquan Reaves

Fans complained about these receivers not getting their chance. Well here it is.

    nima soluti

Idk. I’m more concerned with our WR room this year than I’ve been with any position group in the Lamar era. There isn’t a lot of talent after Bateman, and if defenses focus on him and Mandrews, we don’t have guys who can create separation. But really, what scares me the most is what do we if Bateman or Mandrews get hurt? Just pack it up and go home? We’ve built a ton of quality depth at every other position. But if one of our top receiving options gets hurt, we have zero chance of competing with the other AFC contenders. I hope we sign fuller or Julio, and they can stay on the field and produce at a high level.
Ps. I love duvernay as our 3rd WR in the mini Deebo role, getting 50-70% snaps and 60-80 targets/rushes

    HoboFraggins

@Shaquan Reaves Because he is hot garbage. He’s the one who thought a run play on 3rd and 21 was a smart idea and running the same play 3 consecutive times expecting different results and failing all 3 times was also smart.

    Shaquan Reaves

@HoboFraggins And what game was this?

    HoboFraggins

@Shaquan Reaves I know one of them was the dolphins game where he ran 3 of the same play consecutively. And running on 3rd and 21 happened I believe earlier in the season.

    king shark

N people still trying to find a way to curb them.

Leroy Worsley

Wr Bateman is Awesome!

Grimy_Intellect

Im telling you all, Tylan Wallace is the 2nd best WR on the team… His skills are very natural.

    Jeff Sss

    I’m excited about proche too

    football world

I disagree but he def is chill.

    Rodney Kim

It’s devin duvernay imo he’s had the most production so far

    Christian Lewis

    Yup all facts 💯

Timothy Sheppard

We keep talking bout a vet ,bump that let these young guys play

Eric Diga

All these guys made the most of their touches when Lamar threw their way. They deserve more playing time and bigger roles.

Baltimore Get Up

Bateman gonna eat I predict 1200 Yards minimum, Proche can run the whole route tree and Duvernay can run deep slot. Finally Wallace can be another 50/50 ball guy for chain moving and Redzone.

    Dwayne Moore

If the Ravens would have used proche and duverney properly we would never had the get Bateman. Because I think both of them are better than “Hollywood…”

Steve Wagner

I think Bateman will have a great year. Duvernay, Proche and Wallace will be fine. Got everything we need, #1 receiver, slot, deep threat. I got a lot of faith in the receivers. Hopefully the line holds up this year.

Drb500

BATEMAN, Duvenay Proche and Wallace are a better group than what Lamar had in 2019 … Hollywood, Boykin, Roberts and Snead 🤔

    Rodney Kim

Thank you 🤦🏾‍♂️ people tend to forget this man literally had 30+ passing touchdowns with the little giants receivers playing for him and 1 great pass catching tight end the group he has now will thrive

    Travis says the truth

Yup… waay better I think. I think Duvernay and Proche are pro bowlers that needs more touches to prove it. But definitely show that type of potential. You throw a 50/50 ball up anywhere near Proche and hes going to make you look silly. And Duvernay looks like a up and coming Edelman. With more upside honestly. If Duvernay was a patriot back in Bradys day. He’d look better then Edelman honestly.

    Rodney Kim

@Travis says the truth u just nailed the Edelman comparison and I feel like duvernay could be better he faster and a little bigger

    Trey Wilson

@Travis says the truth lol relax, duv and proche are nice but they ain’t no pro bowl Caliber receivers 🤦🏿‍♂️

    Travis says the truth

@Trey Wilson Id advise you to re watch their tape and if you still don’t think they have that potential then I pray we don’t get a washed up vet. So you can watch these boys cook.

Tim McDermid

Proche is a great receiver, draft price was cheap but his highlights from college are insane and he has shown great flashes already for the Ravens

    king shark

N we wasting him on punt return, cant be life.

Brannon Brass

Rashod is becoming a leader we need !!!! Marquise couldn’t be that

Cesare Antonio

Ravens missed on Wide Receivers throughout their history but they also do a horrible job in developing them because they tend to sign veterans never giving legit chance to develop young wrs, I believe Bateman can be elite without a doubt, better than Hollywood but Duvernay and Proche need to get their opportunity, they proven anytime they been given they can perform.

    Aruba Robinson

How you know we done a horrible job in developing WR? Are you in the film room watching tape or on the sidelines? 🤣🤣🤣

    Cesare Antonio

@Aruba Robinson based on their track history its easy to decipher, don’t have to be a genius to notice that fact

Saad Ahmed

I really don’t want the Ravens to sign another Receiver, We can finally watch them use there young receiving core which had so many flashes but barely any playing time

    BMoreGoHard

    I agree 💯

    2nd-String Superstar

if someone gets hurt then what?

    Rodney Kim

@2nd-String Superstar that’s why most of our UDFAs consisted of decent big body receivers

    2nd-String Superstar

@Rodney Kim but the drop off in skills and talent will be absolutely drastic. besides, they’re UDFA’s for a reason. 28 receivers (the amount of receivers were taken in the 2022 draft class) were considered better than them. the best bet is a veteran receiver. you don’t rely on undrafted free agents as a fallback plan unless you’re absolutely destroyed by injuries.

    Rodney Kim

@2nd-String Superstar understand the concern but this is the opportunity that they are giving them that everyone wanted the young receivers to have IMO they should roll with who they have if the worst happens then we could trade chuck clark and a draft pick for a decent WR unless there is still someone proven enough in the free agency

James Bael

Can’t wait to see the 3te 1wr 1hb set.

Daniel Valadez

A lot of people were complaining about the lack of use in Proche but we had other guys that we needed to get rid of in order for him and others to get a fair shot. Can’t have your cake and eat it too. Let’s get this work

Haleek The Watcher

These WRs are gonna be just fine

Man Man

The Ravens have an underrated receiving core

Fady A.

Is Emmanuel Sanders still looking to play? Could be the perfect vet to add in to the mix. Probably a safer bet than the other FA WRs who are injury prone like Fuller, Jones, Hilton, and OBJ. Young guys should get more snaps but they still need a vet. They’re way too young at the position.

Jason Hicks

I love this so much I like the wide receiver core right now I felt bad last year cuz they weren’t used in the right situation this year they will be used and they will be able to shine their time is coming

Donovan Faalili

Yezir yezir Bateman is poised this season 💯💯🔥🙌 ❤️ Young receivers bout to ball out this year 💜🖤
