Mendenhall is probably one of the least reliable running backs both in fantasy and reality right now. He is averaging just 2.9 yards per carry and has just 56 total rushing yards on 25 carries over his last two games.
He did find the end zone this past week, but that’s happened just twice in the last five games and he hasn’t rushed for more than 50 yards in a game since the second week of the season. You’d like to think that a match-up this week with a Colts defense that allows an average of 126.1 rushing yards per game, would be favorable, but there’s just too much risk involved at such a crucial part of the season.
