Although two of the INT weren’t entirely his fault, Matthew tried to be to fancy today and because of that he played terrible, but the rams still toughed it out, good to know the ram ran 100+ yards, something they gotta do more.

They were his fault
This might have been Stafford’s worst game of his career. Could have easily had 5-6 INTs. Lucky to get out of Minny with a win.
This is not Stafford’s worst game. While he has some serious skills and at times looks incredible, this is what he does several times a year. It’s why Jim Caldwell once benched him in the middle of a game. It’s why the Lions could not win when they had Calvin Johnson. It’s why he has never won a division title or a playoff game. It’s why most of my fellow Detroiters were not sorry to see him leave.

@chardee macdennis I’m well aware of who he is and how he plays, this was still by far one of the worst games of his career.
Stafford played like crap. If he don’t start playing better they are going to lose in playoffs. The defense is slacking also. But stafford was playing way better in the first weeks then now. The loses show. Especially the big ones where they didn’t even get over 10 points.

@James Fuenmayor True dat! Those 70s Vikings teams were great and were always an obstacle for our Rams. All those years we had to face them in the Playoffs in Bloomington, MN in the cold, and ice. And the year we finally got them at home in LA in the playoffs, the mid-70s if my memory serves me well?

A tumultuous rainstorm dubbed “The Mud Bowl”…in LA.
I’m been a Rams fan since the late 60s as well and saw many games at The Coliseum and Anaheim Stadium.

yeah sure I noticed that # 54 for Minn. was none essential during the last game, SO he tried to play this time. I’ll be surprised if he is with the Vikings next year.
That was not their best. Barr played his best. Jefferson tried his best but Ramsey is too good. Cousins didn’t seem to have much help and playcalling looked like it did all year. We settled for 3 when we give up points every 2 min drill of first half.

I loved this game. I’m from Los Angeles and a Rams fan. I fear if the Vikes don’t make the playoffs this season then Mike Zimmer may be on the street in mid-January.
