I don’t know anything about the money involved, but A’Shawn played well for the Lions, and I was upset as a Lions fan when management let him go to LA. DT’s seem to get little respect. Their interior line play gets lost in everybody’s focus on the football. Thinking back over the years, it’s super-large nose guards in a 3-4 scheme that have gotten some special media attention while tackles in a 4-3 scheme remained pretty much anonymous while edge rushers accrue all the fame. You need size in the middle, and that size allows teams the luxury to play leaner, faster guys on the edge to get into the backfield and chase after the QB. Without guys like A’Shawn, you can’t have heroes like Floyd and Miller. Donald remains in a special super-human category all his own.

Vladimir Jackson

Robinson and Gaines have been HUGE in the playoffs. Gaines has been balling all year! As a Rams fan, everything runs thru Donald !!!! As long as he is on that line, others will have plenty of opportunities to shine!

Vladimir Jackson

He’s not really a bubbly and fun loving guy 😂😂😂 A TRUE big guy inside and out!

Robert Diletto

He is a beast ! Became so important down the stretch ! My wife came in the room when I had my game on ! And camera showed him on side line talking to himself ( actually looking like he was scolding himself) and my said OMG who would ever want to play against him ! I laughed so hard ! At that point he became one of my favorites

BEKIND

Can you guys stop asking him questions? He’s just focus on being great

Teresa Dewey

of course I am a Stafford fan… but I was a big fan of A’Shawn when he was in Detroit too

Mike Malick

He looked the same way as a freshman at Alabama. Like he’s 40 years old.

Evan Wondoseen

#shotout to all you LA fans who never watched Alabama football. A’Shawn Robinson and Jerren Reed, was just a matter of time. And yes, He is the best run stopper on the Rams D-Line

Elizabeth Mayhand

From this diehard Lions fan, I am SOOOOO happy for you A’Shawn! Talk about making Matt Patricia eat his words. Congratulations, you earned this!
