It was an honor to know a legend in Raiders Nation to know him as a Raider! John Madden!

    Orlando Alvarez

no doubt, JM one of the many reasons i became a fan of Da Radas.

RAWCaine TV

The greatest NFL coach ever!!!! 🙏🏿

J.D. Riggs

He coached when football was brutal and violent, and celebrated for that, he treated his players like MEN, his football philosophy has stood the test of time, throw long to stretch the defense, this opens up the short pass and running game. He was the first to fully utilize tight ends. He stopped the Dolphins legendary winning streak with the ‘Sea of Hands’ game. There was plenty going on before broadcasting and video games

Sick Widit

We Got To Win This For Good O Madden!!! Raiders Stand Up!!!!!!

Noel Lopez

How cool is it that one of the best characters in the history of the sport of Football is a Raider Legend. RIP Mr Madden

Leif Swenson

Win for Madden, win for each other and win for your fans! Be at your best and leave it all out on the field. Let’s go Raiders! RIP Coach Madden

    Mana Tangitau

Great tribute to John Madden. Our players should be inspired onto victory against the Colts In memory of the great man.

I am from Indy and a Colts fan… But I have always been a Raiders fan also. And who can’t love Coach Madden. I look forward to this weekends game and I hope everyone on both teams are fully healthy. I hope both Carr and Wentz can play.

    Wulf Claw

You are appreciated at least by THIS Raider fan ! A class act !
I too hope we are all solid on the rosters for both Teams and we have a great game !

John Madden was one of the best, His Passion was incredible. May his legacy always be remembered!
All the best to his family.

    Wulfy OG- RAIDER NATION

    David Faxon

I hope so to, because the Colts only want to beat the best competition no excuses to the lose by either side when they have the best available

When Al Davis Passed Away We Won Our Next Game, Time To Repeat History, Win For John Madden!!!

    Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot

I’ll never forget that Texans game. We were underdogs on the road for that one…Michael Huff making that play with just 10 men on the field, Al was with them.

Bump sides & Harleys

It’s tough getting older, start seeing your childhood heroes pass away. R.I.P. John Madden ✊🏽

    Cut It

The day MJ goes imma lose it

    J T

    @Cut It jordan?
    that dude is human waste.
who cares if he could play great in the past when who he is as a person is horrible and completely selfish.

no one is perfect but if someones personality resembles trash can water i think you should avoid them.

Spice C. Rice

It’s gonna be like the Ghost to the Post game. But this weekend’s game against the Colts will be forever known as Renfrow in the Endzone. Let’s make it happen Raiders!!! Just Win Baby!!!

raidernationcali

We Love you coach Madden. You were everything that is great about football. The NFL can learn from you, The Raiders organization can re-learn from you. You continue too teach us all today. I promise you that. Rest in peace coach. With love and respect Raidernation.

Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot

I wouldn’t be a football fan to the degree I am without John Madden. His imprint on the game is indelible.

Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot

This was actually great to see Raider legends like Mark van Eeghen who haven’t been in the spotlight. I love the history of this team and the respect we pay to the men who played before is one of the things I truly love about being a fan of the franchise.

Edward Hancock

When I was a kid John already started broadcasting but I was blessed with a person around me that would educate me about football in general so I knew about what John Madden did and who he was. It was then I decided who my favorite team is and that was the Raiders. I loved what they stood for. Thank you John for showing me where my home is. It will always be with the Raiders.

Jesus Flores

Al Davis was the Head of the Raiders, Jim Otto was the Body, and John Madden was the Brain. The mentality of what it truly takes to attain to excellence as a Raiders. John Madden was the Raider.
