Marvin Jones replacement or Amendola replacement. He played more in the slot,but with his 5050 balls rate so high,he could play sum outside. I think he’s Danny’s replacement since he played more slot than anything. U can tell Bob Quinn has fallen in love with high catch radius guys who have solid to above average hands. Who also has good to great focus on deep balls. I like this kid a lot hope he can make sum noise in that receiver room. It’s some studs in that room.
He reminds me a lot of Amendola but better at contested catches and can run ppl over

It’s not so much that those wrs are so great it’s the fact Stafford is great at throwing to wrs that are not open! He’s been tops in the league in contested and tight window throws for years! He’s like the Anti-Rodgers, Rodgers hates throwing to covered wrs Stafford thrives with it! 👍🏻
Yea #9 is a stud no doubt. But a lot of WR have bad deep ball focus,or drop issues,or sumn like tht. Quinn goes after red zone,3rd down big play money play guys.

Yeah not cause he couldn’t cover him it’s because even if he was hanging all over him Cephus could still come down with the ball. He’s the exact wr Stafford is used to throwing to like Golladay and MJ. Guys with average speed but are open even when there not open. 👍🏻

Lions have the best WR depth they’ve had in a long time. This dude looks good. Golladay, Jones, Amendola, Allison, Hall and now Cephus. Lots of depth here.
