@Burt Macklin he has shown us enough, that we are optimistic about him being a franchise Quarterback. His dumb interceptions are a concern. But I think with a solid oline (it was horrendous last year) and a run game, he will be fine. He has shown more promise, than any Jets qb I’ve watched so far, but if any franchise can mess this up its my damn Jets.
Lmao 😂. I gotta say, I wasn’t a huge fan of him out of USC, but I think he gets a lot more hate than he deserves. Didn’t you guys end 7-9? If he wasn’t out for 4 weeks you guys might’ve been a wild card team.

I do not trust Jacoby at all 😂 I love him as a person, but he is not a starting caliber qb. He holds on to the ball way to long and creates unnecessary pressure, which, I don’t mean to brag, shouldn’t be a problem when you have an offensive line like ours. Since he never took deep shots and wasn’t a passing threat, teams starting committing to stopping the run, which is why Marlon Mack wasn’t as good later in the season. Obviously we had a bit of injuries, but the lack of development I saw in Jacoby from 2017 to 2019 completely shredded any hope I had for him. I don’t want a big name free agent qb, I don’t want to overdraft a qb at 13, I just want a guy who doesn’t turn the ball over, and gets the ball out quick.
