This must be the least excited I’ve been for a draft in years, I don’t know if it’s the class or if it’s just the current state of the world.
Next years class will have bigger names. This year is loaded at the non flashy positions

It’s an incredibly deep draft, just the QB class (arguably thr most exciting for fans specifically and most important for bad teams) is lacking. The rest of the draft is fairly excellent.

Brady, Peyton, and Stafford have shown when it comes to a Quarterback the arm is much more important than the legs.
@Blank Name Yeah he is the faster of the bunch, but still he rarely runs. His arm takes care of that problem.
@E B Kyler Murry is much the same. He can win games when his legs are needed, but he probably will never be in a super bowl. He does not have a good enough arm, but does have flashes of it.

Picket def shocked me didn’t know he was that quick ran a 4.6 with some change not bad at all…Ridder is def an interesting prospect.
Didn’t know Ridder was that fast. Knew he could run, but damn that’s fast. To put it into perspective, he almost ran as fast as Christian McCaffrey did and Ridder is 10lbs heavier.

Today’s game is ever so evolving the QB profile to a player who can throw and has above average mobility. The traditional pocket QB is slowly phasing out. However, arm talent, football intelligence and quick decision making ability will always be my top three qualities in a great QB. Brady still demonstrates that these attributes can make you lead the league in so many stats and wins.
All these young mobile QBs in the league with be pocket passers later in their playing career. Mobility is nice but picking apart defenses with your brain is still the most elite skill.
If you never learn how to stay in the pocket, or at least expand the pocket, you won’t survive very long. Randall Cunningham had his best season when he finally accepted that.
Desmond Ridder looks like an athlete. Just unfurls that speed.
I would think their 20 times and agility testing would mean more than 40 yard dash
