Love this guy! He does need work on not turning the ball over and making better choices when late in the 3rd or the middle of the 4th. But if he can get some games finished out without turning it over, then I think that we have our franchise QB we’ve been needing desperately for decades.
Dude has an aura about him. He clearly doesn’t have the tangibles of your ideal franchise QB so he’ll try to make up for it and sometimes make mistakes. But you can’t underestimate his heart, grit and will to win
He has all the intangibles that Carson does not

As a Quarterback, he knows where his bread is buttered. I watched him weekly at ODU, one of the many things that impressed me about him was his constantly lifting up his teammates. He was never about me, me, me it was always them, them, them.

Looking at him right now, you can see his conditioning has paid off. He definitely looks bigger, and is able to withstand a lot more punishment than he did last year. I saw every home game he played at ODU, 10 minutes from my home. I’ve seen what he can do. I’m really happy for him.
