if he could of declared for the draft after his sophomore year he would have been top 3 pick

I’ve watched him his whole career at UNC and he knows how to win!! I love him as a quarterback and I hope he keeps improving. I’m so glad his first career start was his first career win and it was against the Cowboys!!

One game; however, he outplayed both Heineke and Wentz. Plus, Cowboys are both a rival, playoff team and had the motivation to win. Most rookies would be toast going against one of the best D coordinators in the league.

It was actually fun watching their offense today. Well played Sam, hopefully you’ll be the QB1 for the future years and lead this team to the playoffs next season. Now gtfo Dan
The next step is our wideouts getting YAC plays and I’m glad Howell showed he has a strong enough arm to hit players in full stride. Howell was most likely the spark we needed when Ron was looking for one. Kyle Shanahan went with Brock Purdy over veteran Josh Johnson and Ron went with veteran Wentz over Howell and the rest is frustrating history. It’s a shame we had so much untapped potential riding the bench like Howell, Khaleke Hudson, Percy Butler and Chris Paul when so many of the players in front of them struggled.
