Day 932 of my complaining about the quality of content from Packer YT. Mics for press, not a cup and string. Edit out the 20 minutes of nothing from each vid. Longer videos concerning extra content like player interviews.

    Let me intern @GreenBayPackers

A

He’s obviously developing slowly but he is getting better. Some of the picks weren’t his fault but his accuracy still isn’t where it could be. He keeps working on his form maybe his inconsistency will continue to decrease. Obviously the worst case scenario is this is just how he is but it took Rodgers years to reform his motion early on too so we will see.

Sean M

Who is running the Packers YouTube channel and directing the audio of the interviews? Both need to be fired.

    A

Kinda wild considering this is a multi-billion dollar corporation

Shoulda been fired years ago. This is and has been pathetic. The only questions I’ve heard clearly were when they were on zoom

David Rivera

Love is garbage 🗑

We saw 5 QBs tonight, each QB playing about the same number drives. One QB had 3 Ints and the other 4 QBs had none. The 3 int QB felt the ball just didn’t bounce right tonight…and the coach of the 3 Int QB gave excuses for what went wrong. Two issues that need to be fixed for play to improve: 1) a higher level of accountability by the QB and 2) fewer excuses from the coach. Mike Holmgren would have been very clear…rather than spend tie giving excuses (even excuses that might be valid) instead, he would use the opportunity state (or restate) exactly what he would like to see.

    A

You realize Holmgrem coached Brett Favre when he was in GB right? The NFLs leading int leader.. he let Favre get away with recklessness all the time. Some of the funniest moments with Favre is when he completely went off script from what Holmgrem had just told him to do on the sidelines. Some of the ints weren’t on Love tonight and Lefleur isn’t just giving excuses, 2 of those literally were on the WRs.

    Eric Schmitz

@A Favre became a HOF QB…How did Holmgren turn Favre into a HOF QB? (see above)

    William Hermann

@Eric Schmitz “Became” is the chief word there. He didnt become a superstar until after throwing a combined 37 interceptions his first 2 years starting. Imagine if Holmgren was like “hey we need more accountability. get rid of this guy.” Fans dont like to hear the word patience but its exactly what they need to hear. Have some patience ffs.

    Eric Schmitz

@William Hermann We are on the same side (holding positive expectations for player and coach)…think about the way Favre “became” a HOF QB. Holmgren stressed again and again what he would like to see from his players. He did not make excuses for Favre…it also modeled expectations for the rest of the team…no excuses…both Favre and Rodgers take accountability…again, modeling desired behavior for the rest of the team…my comments above are constructive…while “protective” comments hold theory X assumptions.

Real Genius

Love stinks

Wumbo

He needs some chapstick, can focus on the game instead of wetting his lips before every play. Love the kid but he needs to chill out, from my perspective, he is either too fast or too slow during plays seeing and reacting. He got time to figure it out though

Ross Lillebo

Who performed worse? Love or the mics for this press conference?

Zaphod Dog

I understand why there are these long pauses when this is live but why in the world do you bother to preserve the eleven and a half minutes of nothing before the interview starts when you post this edited version?

Showed no improvement. Third year, second real camp, two in season starts, took all snaps in season during Aaron’s toe injury.

Not saying he does not have physical potential or lacks skills that identified him as a draft pick or that a quarterback shouldn’t have been drafted to develop behind Rodgers at that point I am saying that he plays as if not to make a mistake, cautious, timidly, no zip no swagger, no sense if urgency. Worst quarterback in field last night.

Favre threw picks, he was a hillbilly leader with guts and determination who out it all on the line and was a leader,. Rodgers a different cat, but came into camp with a chip on his shoulder and challenged a legand. They were both alphas.

We all saw the same performance. Only pass he let rip was to Davis. Not playing as if he has anything at stake.

From coach on down to Jordan himself an honest appraisal is necessary if he is going to ever improve. Quit coddling him. Man up.

Right now not one of the 53 best on the team. If he doesn’t step up up than step out. Wouldn’t be “please” if he were the back up going into season.

Sometimes tough Love is necessary for a player to improve. Someone better light a fire under him.
