I am in my 50th season as a Raider fan. Today is one of the best days in my history as a Raider fan – and the time since Zieg and Josh came in has been some of the best months in Raider history. After the season ending I was thinking “Rich Bisaccia and Mike Mayock”. I liked those guys a lot. But MAN – what Josh and Zieg have done to restructure/reposition/reload and set us up for a legit shot at another SB ring – remarkable. So happy for Derek – and I am thrilled with his no trade clause. beautiful!
You know what brother!?…Many of the fan base has never seen a competitive playoff team until this year! …Some people have 2 research the glory days and foundation of the nation! ..You can say you were there ! Way 2 stay loyal! …It has been a long 20 years! ..The payoff will be huge for those who stayed loyal! I was born a Raider! @David Clark My first football memory was watching old man Willie return Fran 80 yds for the pick 6. I was too young to appreciate what I saw but it planted the seed. I remember thinking those fans were āinterestingā. Cool side note, my brother was a Vikings fan so watching him freak out was a bonus. By the time Mike Davis intercepted Brian Sipe and thwarted the cardiac kids I was bleeding silver and black. When DC got drafted it was the first time I got excited for the future since getting Gannon in free agency. Honestly, I had a twinge of that when we drafted Jamarcus but as soon as he held out for a bigger contract I knew where we were going with himā¦.pause to wash my mouth outā¦..After preseason in ā14 one of my coworkers (a Broncos fan) asked me what I thought of the team. My exclamation was āLet Carr drive the bus!ā His character is that of someone driven to be better and lift all those around him while demonstrating a loyalty to the team and the fan base. The presser he gave after the game with the Jets where he got pulled by Gruden halfway through bolstered my conviction on his strength of character. To see how someone responds when adversity is thrown at them makes their character truly rise. His response was to own everything and he put the team on his back. The boo birds and naysayers were already in full effect but (thankfully) they donāt make decisions in the organization. I do believe our greatness lies in the future. This team is demonstrating that future is now!!!!!! Letās go Raiders!!!!!!! RN4L

Rich Bisaccia will always be remembered fondly by Raider fans for his class and leadership. No question about that. He truly earned the right to be respected and loved by us. Once a Raider always a Raider!
But I agree that hiring the new HC/GM team was the right move. They’re actually working together with a solid plan. It’s been a long time since we had that. All the pieces are in place now and I appreciate Mrk Davis for that.

I think Derek doesnāt get enough respect as a leader and as a QB Iām happy he got this contract a; few months ago I was reading articles about other teams he could play for (Saints, Eagles, etc) and it just didnāt look right. Heās born to be a raider for sure. And thank yāall for Mariota!
As Raiders fans and fans of Derek, we often see people in our own fanbase roasting him. It’s always interesting to see fans of other teams recognizing his talent. This is the first time since 2016 that he’s really had a complete team around him. He needs a little help on the O-line and maybe another DB (Mathieu, anyone?).
As for Mariota, I hope he has success with Altanta. Cheers!

I really feel like Johnathan Abram needs to be replaced by a player of Tyrann Mathieuās caliber. I donāt trust Trayvon Mullen to be #1 or #2 yet. And Right Guard, Right Tackle. If all of these positions were improved, we would be championship caliber in my opinion.
honestly, imo, if they’ve beaten the bengals, the raiders MIGHT have made it to the superbowl & dare i say beat the rams NARROWLY. i believe the sofi stadium would truly be divided since la still has plenty of raiders influence.
the O-line isn’t too bad they improved as weeks went on in 2021. More of needing a right tackle and the line will be good to go.

One playoff loss in his only appearance in 9 years is not deserving of this contract!!! I’m sorry, but the fabric of a man off the field is one thing, and Derek Carr is a good “man”, but, that does not make you a championship QB, that takes a lot of talent. And Carr has average talent, not championship talent!!! I can seperate the man from the player, and I think Carr is a great man, but not a great QB!!!!
