Hope to see him starting again soon! This season has been cut a bit short for him but it’ll make for an interesting offseason… Washington might wanna stick with experience in the role if they make the playoffs this season. Also, as Carson said, most important thing now is to focus on the team and the rest of the season considering the intensity and length of an NFL season

Have a new found respect for Carson Wentz a classy guy
He’s a pro.
He’s also happy to sit back, ride this out, back up someone somewhere for a few years and retire while he’s young. He’s no dummy, he chose that years ago.
The interviewer here tried to set him up, to say something negative. It didn’t work. It had to be hard to answer some of these stupid questions, but Carson handled it well.
He asked questions that any other QB in the NFL would be asked after being demoted.
Much respect for Carson he handled the press conference like a professional and like a grown man should. Happy Thanksgiving Carson to you and your family.
I’m a big Heinicke fan, but I bear no ill will for Wentz. I hope Wentz can somehow resurrect his career somewhere else, but I don’t think he will be able to. He just has too many limitations in the pocket and I think it’s quite possible that he won’t even be in the NFL next season.
Tbh, Wentz shouldn’t feel to bad, if he didn’t get injured, and we had the same game plan as we do with Taylor I definitely think we can still win games. Just something about Taylor, his energy, it’s unmatched
This was such a waste of a roster spot, $28M, and a draft pick. I was so happy when we signed him and couldn’t figure out why so many ppl had negative things to say about his game. But from week 2 on…..I saw it. He can never give us a complete game. Very inaccurate. Misses open WRs alot and when when pressure is coming, he runs like a chicken with no head. I never knew him to be that bad. In Philly he used to scorch us. In Indy, his numbers looked great but I guess that was old Carson. I just hope we move on from him immediately
Modern day press conferences entail some very STUPID questions: ‘how do you FEEL about this or that”… “what do you THINK about the coach saying this or that…”. Indicates a lack of football knowledge on behalf of the reporter. Hats off to Carson for adeptly handling INCREASINGLY STUPID, NON-FOOTBALL QUESTIONS…! What’s next: “…how does your grandmother feel about you being a football player, Carson…?” UNREAL!!!
